The HU Guest On New Single "Pray To The Sun" For Netflix's 'One Piece' Series
Gold-certified Mongolian folk metal outfit The HU have teamed up with Declan de Barra on the track “Pray To The Sun,” composed by Sonya Belousova and Giona Ostinelli.
The song was created for the second season of Netflix’s live-action adaptation of the One Piece anime/manga franchise. Season two of One Piece is set to premiere in theaters and on Netflix on March 10th.
Discussing their decision to bring in The HU, Belousova and Ostinelli stated:
“We’ve greatly admired The HU for years and had been waiting for the right project to collaborate. Their fusion of ancient Mongolian tradition and modern metal felt like a perfect match for the two fan-favorite Viking giants of Elbaf, making ‘Pray to the Sun’ feel both visceral and utterly contemporary — defining the song and its characters through their signature vocal and instrumental palette.”
