Megadeth Premiere New Single & Music Video "Let There Be Shred" From Upcoming Self-Titled Farewell Album

Thrash metal icons Megadeth have unveiled the third single from their forthcoming self-titled final studio album. Titled “Let There Be Shred,” the track comes across as a swaggering tribute to the band’s live shows and offers another preview of the closing chapter in their multi-platinum career. The album is set for release on January 23rd, with a global farewell tour expected to span roughly three to five years before the band officially brings things to a close.

A music video for the song was directed by Keith J. Leman. In addition, Megadeth have adopted the track’s name for a special in-person listening event spotlighting the upcoming album.
