Following her statement of her departure from Arch Enemy (as reported yesterday), Alissa White-Gluz released a video for “The Room Where She Died,” taken from her long-in-the-works solo album and streaming via YouTube for you now below. The track was co-written with Oliver Palotai (Kamelot/Doro Pesch). Studio drums for the track were performed by Alex Landenburg (Kamelot, etc.).

Alissa shared the following about its creation:

“I hope you love this first offering from my upcoming solo album. You can watch the whole video on my YouTube Channel.

‘The Room Where She Died‘ is a song that feels truly satisfying to me; like I get to express myself in so many ways that have been dormant for years. This upcoming album is diverse; and I love the idea of opening up this new chapter with this song and video, which I wrote the script for.

Can’t wait to share more with you!”
