Paradise Lost And More Added To Mystic Festival

Paradise Lost with a special program to be selected by fans, as well as Dark Funeral, Blood Command and Mimi Barks join the Mystic Festival 2024 program. Unfortunately, despite earlier announcement, Scowl will not perform in Gdansk this year.

Paradise Lost
From the cold, dank dungeons of "Lost Paradise" to the bleak brightness of "Obsidian", Paradise Lost follow their own path through the dark, meandering between doom and death metal and gothic rock. The Brits have been writing their history for more than three decades, and it can be read in many different ways - there are so many cult albums in their discography, so many immortal anthems. But this time it's not the band that will decide what will be played, the setlist for the Gdansk concert will be compiled by the fans! How? When? We'll keep you posted... In the meantime, listen carefully to Paradise Lost's albums and take notes, because decision time will come.

Dark Funeral
One of the mightiest forces in the Swedish black metal scene, also worshipped in Poland since their furious debut "The Secrets of the Black Arts". Years pass, but Lord Ahriman and his horde remain faithful to the darkness, as they proved most recently, in 2022, by successfully spewing blasphemies on the album "We Are the Apocalypse".

Blood Command
The title of the Norwegians' last album to date, released in 2023, is "World Domination" - and it's all true. The panzer punk from Bergen, with charismatic Australian Nikki Brumen at the front, is already a global phenomenon. And they take no prisoners.

Mimi Barks
She may have titled her mixtape "DEADGIRL", but reviewers had no doubt - a new star was born into dark, twisted music. "Mimi Barks is becoming one of the most essential artists in modern alternative music" - this is "Kerrang!", with a score of 5/5. You can call it grime metal, you can call it doom trap, and you don’t have to name it at all just come closer and experience it.

Unfortunately, Scowl, who canceled their visit to Europe around this time, will not appear at Mystic Festival 2024, despite earlier announcements. Their place on the program is taken by Blood Command.

Mystic Festival will take place in Gdansk, Poland at the Gdansk Shipyard on June 5th through 8th, 2024.

Tickets are available now on the Mystic Festival homepage here More...

Mystic Festival (PL) Adds 8 More Bands To Line-Up

It's going to be four very intense days. Heavyweight riffs will be delivered by American masters Crowbar, but also the sensation of recent seasons from the UK, namely Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs. In the latter's music bleakness of doom contrasts with free-flowing, psychedelic rock and roll.

Death worshippers Blasphemy are not coming to Gdansk in peace - the cult Canadian band will wreak havoc and destruction. Twin Temple also serves the night, although they pursue it through completely different means. Instead of asking, like The Rolling Stones, for sympathy for the devil, they will force you to do a sinful dance to their infernal doo-wop.

We love to jump from one extreme to another, from retro to modern and even to the future of metal and rock. Brits from Wargasm will rock the stage with a cocktail of electro punk and nu-metal. Scowl is anger-driven hardcore from California. Iceland is represented by post-metal visionaries from Múr, and if you fly too far away with them, Denmark's Nakkeknaekker will bring you down to earth with their full-blooded death metal.

Mystic Festival will take place in Gdansk, Poland at the Gdansk Shipyard on June 5th through 8th, 2024.
