Drummer Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer, Dead Cross, Testament, etc.) premieres a second single named “Separation From The Sacred”, taken from his forthcoming debut solo effort “Rites Of Percussion“. Ipecac Recordings will release the album on May 05th, 2023.

Satanic Planet - the supergroup featuring current and former members of The Locust, Slayer etc. - premiere their second advance track “Exorcism“. The band are joined by Cattle Decapitation vocalist Travis Ryan on this particular track.
Their self-titled debut album is due out on May 28th via Three One G Records.

Dead Cross (Faith No More) Back In The Studio
Supergroup Dead Cross (Faith No More/Suicidal Tendencies/ex-Slayer/Retox, etc.) have been in the studio recently tracking new material with producer Ross Robinson (Korn, Slipknot) once again behind the boards. Judging by the pictures below they’ve been recording at Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl‘s Studio 606 in Northridge, CA.
Graspop Adds 26 More Bands
The organisers of Belgium's Graspop Metal Meeting has announced a further 26 bands for this year's edition of the festival, including Swedish death metallers Arch Enemy, Korn frontman Jonathan Davis and costumed rockers, Ghost. Also newly confirmed are Septicflesh, Skindred, Corrosion Of Conformity, Accept, Skillet, Tremonti, Baroness, Shinedown, Hollywood Undead, Seether, Neurosis, Dead Cross, Eisbrecher, Pertubator, Wolves In The Throne Room, L7, Carach Angren, Dool, The Vintage Caravan, Diablo BLVD, Batushka, Mantar and Ego Kill Talent. The event's Facebook post claims that the lineup is now "more or less complete" with "a few finishing touches" to come. It will be held in the town of Dessel from June 21 - 24th.

Dead Cross Announces North American Tour
Dead Cross, the hardcore band featuring Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, Misfits), Justin Pearson (The Locust, Retox), Michael Crain (Retox, Festival of Dead Deer) and Mike Patton (Faith No More, Tomahawk), just announced a first run of North American tour dates.
“Everything about Dead Cross screams aggression," said Lombardo. “I have no idea what kind of chaos it will conjure on stage or in the audience... but I know it's going to be a hell of a good time. Really looking forward to hitting the road with these guys."
The late summer outing kicks off on August 10th at The Observatory in Santa Ana, Calif. and includes a stop at Riot Fest Chicago. Tickets are on-sale this Thursday at 10 a.m. local time. More...

Mike Patton Joins Dead Cross
Dead Cross is a Southern California outfit featuring Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, Misfits), Justin Pearson (The Locust, Retox, Head Wound City) and Michael Crain (Retox, Festival of Dead Deer).
The group just now added Mike Patton (Faith No More) as vocalist, and Dead Crosss is currently working on a debut album with a 2017 release coming via Ipecac Recordings. Stay tuned for full details.
