Featuring former members of Heart of a Coward, Abhorrent Decimation, Martyr Defiled, Nervecell and Surfaces, Viscera formed in 2019.

Inspired by the seminal 90s & 00s bands - notably Pantera, Meshuggah, At The Gates, The Black Dahlia Murder and Killswitch Engage, Viscera combine these influences with modern tech death and deathcore flavours. Osiah Posts New Music Video Online

Undoubtably one of the UK's most ferociously dark bands, Osiah, have released a soul-stirring new music video for their album track "The Ominous Mind (Jaded Inside)."

Taken from their album "Loss," which was recently released on 7th May to worldwide critical acclaim via Unique Leader Records, you can now experience the video below.

Following on from singles 'Temporal Punishment' and 'The Eye of the Swarm (feat. Ben Duerr)', 'The Ominous Mind (Jaded Inside)' is another striking declaration of resolve from one of the hardest working bands on the circuit, showcasing their more sombre side whilst firmly establishing their prominence at the top of the new breed of deathcore hierarchy.

Speaking of their newest video Osiah shared: "The Ominous Mind (Jaded Inside) is our third single, representing the more melodic and groove elements of Osiah, and also showcasing some of Ricky’s most pain fuelled lyrics that dominate this release."

Vocalist Ricky Roper added: "It’s one of the most pained tracks on the record; recording it was an experience I’ll never forget. During the end section I was literally screaming my pain out, I don’t think I’ve ever been as low as I was at that point of recording, and the melodic section that guitarist Andy Mallaby provided really brought it out of me. I can still hear it when I listen back and it serves as a reminder of where I’ve clawed my way back from."

A recent interview with Ricky Roper conducted by Metal Underground can also be found below. More...

UK Tech-Fest Postponed To 2022

UK Tech-Fest has postponed this year's event to 2022, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. UK Tech-Fest will now take place on 30th June - 4th July 2022, at the Newark Showground. Tickets for 2021 will be valid for the 2022 event.

Tickets for UK Tech-Fest 2022 can be purchased here.

The organisers have released the following statement:

"It breaks our hearts to bring you this news that UK Tech-Fest 2021 is cancelled. UK Tech-Fest will now take place Thursday 30 June – Monday 4 July 2022. We’ve been exploring all options to make the festival happen this year, but plain and simply there’s just too much stacked against us.

"We’re not the first to cancel and sadly we won’t be the last, as the main factor for us all is insurance. We really wish we had a crystal ball and could see what will happen in June. Going by the roadmap, in theory we should be fine, but the fact that the Government haven’t put their money where their mouth is and cough up a Government-backed insurance scheme for the festival and live events industry, says it all. As a small, independent festival we can’t afford to take the financial risk without the security and protection from such a scheme.

"And then there’s the bands, many of our international artists have had to cancel their shows and can’t travel to the UK. We’ve explored booking a UK line-up but (while that would be awesome) there’s still the big risk without insurance.

"Current ticket holders – your tickets will automatically be valid for 2022 and refunds will be available to those who wish. Thank you to those who rolled their tickets over last year or donated their tickets, if you are able to do so again this year we would be extremely grateful.

"For all ticket enquiries check out our FAQs: https://uktechfest.com/faqs or email
tickets@uktechfest.com

"Tickets for 2022 – we’re delighted to announce we have instalment tickets available so you can pay for your ticket monthly from now to June 2022. It’s been a hard year so we hope this helps spread the cost. http://uktechfest.gigantic.com/

"If you can support us further we would love you to check out our new merch store – lots of discounts and bundles available! https://merch.uktechfest.com/

"Stay safe and we’ll see you in Newark next year. Much love, the Tech-Fest Team"

Osiah Shares New Music Video

Northern England's most ferocious metal band, Osiah, have released their brutal new single "Temporal Punishment." Premiered via Knotfest, you can watch the video for "Temporal Punishment" below. The single is taken from the band's forthcoming LP, Loss, which will be released 7th May via Unique Leader.

Osiah comment on 'Temporal Punishment':

"'Temporal Punishment' is a great introduction to Osiah if you’ve never heard of us before, it utilises all the elements of this genre that we love and have adhered to over the years through sheer enjoyment. If you enjoyed our single ‘The Eye of the Swarm’ but wondered if Osiah is still going to maintain their unique style of speed and groove, we promise you that this single will certainly cater towards those death metal tastes, whilst simultaneously showcasing the diversity of the record that’s to come." Osiah Reveals New Album Details

Northern England's most ferocious metal band, Osiah, return with their long-awaited new LP entitled, "Loss." The album will be released 7th May via Unique Leader and can be pre-ordered here: https://orcd.co/loss

The band are also streaming their monstrous new single "The Eye of The Swarm," featuring Shadow of Intent's Ben Duerr, which can be found below.

Osiah comment:

"'Loss' is Osiah’s darkest record to date, combining the monolithic misery of our debut record 'Terror Firma,' with a more matured technicality first showcased in our sophomore; 'Kingdom of Lies.'

"This record is the truest representation of Osiah to date, unhindered by linear concepts and wrote from a place of emotion instead.

"Featuring a new line up; Loss will cater to those familiar with our aggression, and also allow new listeners to be shown a raw unfiltered version of who we are, before they have an opportunity to witness our previous efforts.

"Osiah is stronger, faster, and more punishing than ever before, and we’ve called in our good friends Ben Duerr (Shadow of Intent) and Jason Evans (Ingested) to ensure the gears constantly step up throughout the album, not a single second of this record went to waste and we are excited to finally unleash this conduit of brutality."
