Manowar Guitarist Arrested Over Child Porn
Karl Logan, the fifty three year old guitar player for heavy metal legends Manowar, has been arrested in Charlotte, North Carolina and charged with six counts of third degree exploitation of a minor. His bail was set at $35,000 and has been posted. Currently, no further information has been revealed, though the arrest record can be seen at the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office web site by clicking here.
Logan joined Manowar in 1994, replacing David Shankle on guitar and made his recording debut with the band on the "Louder Than Hell" album, which also marked the return of drummer Scott Columbus. In 2016, Manowar announced that they would be retiring after a final world tour dubbed "The Final Battle," which is currently scheduled to continue into next year.
Stormcast Releases Sophomore Album
Cypriot melodic black metal band Stormcast has today released their sophomore full length album, "The Ghost Eater." The record has been made available to buy through their official Bandcamp page. This is their first album in four years, following their debut, "Of Flesh And Stone," which was released in 2014 through Pitch Black Records. The band has also posted a music video online for the song, "Lushai Hills" which can be seen below, along with a lyric video for "Resonance." More...
