Fury Releases "On The Town" Music Video
Fury challenge the barriers of hard rock and metal genres once again with their exciting new album "Interceptor," out today. From the reassuringly old-school fast riffing and anthemic vocals the long lasting fans know from Fury, to the carefully composed, introspective auditory treats that might surprise listeners who expect metal bands to sit neatly in their box.
Since their previous album, "Born To Sin" (2022), Fury have moved into the territory of dual lead vocals, opening up a new soundscape for the band to explore. With the release of every album since their debut in 2014, vocal melody and harmony have become an increasingly significant part of their sound. Until no longer could the band remain a four-piece, and the powerhouse Nyah Ifill joined alongside founding member Julian Jenkins on co-lead vocals. The pairing of their two distinctive vocal timbres build a wall of sound on the "Interceptor" album, and doesn’t let up the intensity for their roaring live shows.
“Interceptor” also marks another sonic change for the band, bringing in the production expertise of Todd Campbell of Stompbox Studios. Fury met Todd while touring Europe supporting Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons in 2023, and it became clear that someone so close to Motörhead and Lemmy would understand the energy, rawness and dirty guitar and bass tones that Fury craved for their fifth studio album.

Nailed To Obscurity Shares "Glass Bleeding" Video
Nailed To Obscurity has released a video for "Glass Beeding," the latest single from their fifth studio album, "Generation Of The Void," which is out today via Nuclear Blast Records! In celebration of the album's release day, an atmospheric music video is being released alongside the single. Scroll down to check it out.
Dynamic album opening track "Glass Bleeding" offers a preview of the stylistic variety that Nailed To Obscurity have perfected with "Generation Of The Void," shifting with ease between hard-hitting death metal passages, ethereal clean parts and anthemic sing-alongs.
With "Generation Of The Void," Nailed To Obscurity has crafted their most mature and expansive album to date. The album reflects the turmoil of the post-pandemic era, the shadows of war in Europe, and the relentless changes affecting all of humanity. Beyond its political and social commentary, the album also dives deep into personal struggles, confronting themes of dark emotions, depression, and fear. Every note, every lyric carries the weight of uncertainty and disillusionment, while no one knows what one will find within the void or beyond.
Nailed To Obscurity commented:
"We are beyond excited that our new album 'Generation Of The Void' is finally out today. It feels amazing to share not only the singles you’ve already heard, but also all the other songs that complete the journey. We can’t wait for you to dive into the full record and discover everything we’ve been working on.
"Alongside the album, we’re thrilled to unveil the brand-new video for 'Glass Bleeding'. We chose this track to open the record because it perfectly introduces what’s to come - moving from mellow, moody atmospheres into crushingly heavy riffs and blast beats. It sets the tone for the entire album and paves the way for everything that follows." More...
Omnivide To Release New EP "Arise" In October
Canadian progressive metal band Omnivide return with their most ambitious work to date. The band have announced their upcoming EP "Arise" is set for release on 10th October via Seek & Strike.
Leading the charge is the breathtaking first single, "Void," ushered in by a striking performance video, weaving the band’s onstage intensity with intricate, hand-drawn animations that mirror the track’s dramatic interplay of light and dark. You can check out the video below.
Omnivide states: "Our first single, ‘Void,' was the first song that began to take shape at the beginning of the writing process for the EP, so it has a lot of the foundational characteristics that inspired the rest of the songs. It has technical riffs, a contrast of high intensity and laid-back sections, orchestral arrangements, a mix of harsh and clean vocals and a crushing guitar solo. Overall, it encapsulates our intentions with the music for this EP, which is why we choose it as a lead single. It also has the most direct link to the lyrical theme of the EP, being about overcoming inner limitations and external adversity in life's most dire situations. It vividly expresses the desperation felt in times of seemingly insurmountable struggle, the refusal to give up no matter how badly the odds are stacked against us and the growth that takes place when one chooses to face such challenges." "I Am The Primal Fear" is the perfect track to mark the release of German metal force Primal Fears new album, "Domination." Out today via Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM), the 13-track record is a powerful statement of the band’s legacy and a showcase of their unmistakable sound.
A future fan favourite and live anthem in the making, "I Am The Primal Fear" kicks off with a burst of solo drumming before the full Primal Fear engine roars to life, unleashing thunderous riffs and soaring melodic leads.
