Galder Leaves Dimmu Borgir After Nearly 25 Years

Dimmu Borgir guitarist and bassist Galder has parted ways with the band. After joining in 2000, Galder has decided to step away to dedicate more time to his other project, Old Man's Child, which hasn’t released an album since 2009. His final performance with Dimmu Borgir took place this past Saturday, August 17 at the Dynamo Metal Fest.

As of now, Dimmu Borgir - comprised of founding members Shagrath and Silenoz along with several live musicians - has not issued a statement regarding Galder's departure.

Vended Premiere New Single & Music Video

By now, most people are familiar with Vended, fronted by Corey Taylor’s son, Griffin Taylor, and featuring Simon Crahan (Clown’s son) on drums. Today they premiere a new music video for their latest track, “Serenity,” from their forthcoming debut album, out on September 20th, 2024.

Vended will be hitting the road next month with a mix of headlining dates and shows alongside Slipknot and Knocked Loose. They’re also set to perform at Korn’s 30th-anniversary concert in October, where they’ll share the stage with Evanescence, Gojira, and Spiritbox.
