The Violent Hour (Ex-Butcher Babies) Premiere Song

The Violent Hour have premiered a music video for their newest single, “Hell Or Hollywood,” with direction handled by Vicente Cordero (Black Veil Brides, Ministry). The track features Zakk Wylde on guitar and was filmed at the iconic Rainbow Bar and Grill in West Hollywood, CA.

Fronted by Carla Harvey (ex-Butcher Babies, current Lords Of Acid vocalist), the project also includes her partner Charlie Benante (Anthrax, Pantera, etc.), who takes on most of the instrumental work and contributes to the songwriting. A debut EP from The Violent Hour is currently in development, with further details yet to be announced.

Quadvium (Testament, Ex-Obscura) Premiere Video

Quadvium, the progressive metal fusion project led by fretless bass virtuosos Steve Di Giorgio (Testament, ex-Death) and Jeroen Paul Thesseling (ex-Obscura, etc.), have unveiled an animated music video for their track “Adhyasa.” The surreal visual accompaniment was directed and animated by Costin Chioreanu (Borknagar, Katatonia).

The song appears on the band’s recently released debut album, “Tetradom,” which dropped last month.

Between The Buried And Me Premiere New Single

Progressive metal titans Between The Buried And Me have officially signed with InsideOutMusic for the release of their eleventh studio album, "The Blue Nowhere," which is set to arrive on September 12th via the label. Notably, guitarist Dustie Waring is absent from the band’s current lineup and does not appear in the newly issued promotional photo. Waring has been out of the fold since 2023, following a contentious dispute surrounding his departure.

Regarding the new record, vocalist/keyboardist Tommy Rogers shared that the album “exists in a world that’s not tied to a storyline. It’s more about a feeling, where the songs live for me.” He described the material as “journal entries, fleeting and introspective thoughts – chaotic at times, depending on the music.”
