Katatonia Streaming New Song "Buildings" In Tour Promo Video

Swedish dark rock/metal act Katatonia has launched a promotional video for the upcoming “Epic Kings & Idols” North American tour. The clip, available below, features the brand new song “Buildings,” in its entirety, taken from the impending ninth studio album "Dead End Kings." The release is due out August 28th via Peaceville Records. The album's track listing is:

The “Epic Kings & Idols” tour will kick off early next month in Seattle with co-headliners, The Devin Townsend Project. Paradise Lost and Stolen Babies will round out the line-up for the 18-city, September trek. Dates are available after the jump.

Well, no suprises - sounds like new Katatonia. A bit of new found urgency in the drumming, slightly heavier riffing too. Looking forward to hearing more of the album now.

"Buildings" seems to split the sounds of 'Night is the New Day' and 'The Great Cold Distance' albums pretty evenly. 'Dead End Kings' and the new My Dying Bride album will make for perfect fall weather music.
