1349 Announce November Release Of Pandemic-Era Live Album “Winter Mass”

Norwegian black metal veterans 1349 have announced a new live album, “Winter Mass”, capturing a 13-song set recorded at Oslo’s Parkteatret on November 20th, 2021. The performance took place during the pandemic era, with the band now choosing to officially document and share it.

You can preview the release now with a live cut of “I Am Abomination”, streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you now below. “Winter Mass” will officially arrive on November 28th through Season Of Mist.

Frontman Ravn commented on the decision to release the set:

“This show was captured between two lockdowns in the recent plague, and it mirrors the energy that we feel onstage to perfection. What you see here is the raw outburst of what we label ‘Aural Hellfire.’ To top it off, we also included all of the drawings that Kim Holm has done of us, thus far, and he also is able to convey that energy through his art. Rejoice and ravish this complete package of raw Hellfire!”
