Hello fellow metalheads! I'm a longtime visitor and headbanger at MU, now part of the crew as a reviewer and contributor for the site.
I enjoy almost all subgenres of metal, thrash, death, prog, doom, black, funeral doom, drone, viking, power - everything apart from metalcore and deathcore.
Loosely my favourite genre is progressive death thrash, and my favourite acts include Cynic, Metallica, Watchtower, Hammers of Misfortune, At The Gates, Emperor, Death, Type O Negative, Slough Feg etc.
Bands I'm really digging at the moment are Mortifera, Rhapsody of Fire and Thergothon.
I work as a computer programmer for a scientific company and in my precious spare time I try and fit in a some shredding, writing music and reviews, and supporting local music and supporting the underground metal scene worldwide.
