Marduk To Play Mystic Festival 2026

Marduk, Bölzer, Disharmonic Orchestra, and Knife Bride are the next four bands we welcome in the festival’s line-up. Mystic Festival has already announced several bands for its 2026 edition with many more announcements to follow.

For now though, these are the bands included in this announcement.

Marduk

In 1990, the gates of hell opened in Norrköping to release Panzer Division Marduk into the world, with the unrelenting Morgan Håkansson steady at its helm. With each subsequent record – from the debut album Dark Endless to the most recent Memento Mori – the Swedes have defined anew the concept of musical sacrilege. Each of their concerts burn everything to a crisp and in those somehow left alive, they ignite the want for another go at it with the black metal beast.

Bölzer

Had we not seen them, we would’ve not believed that a duo can wreak such a havoc on stage. From perfectly familiar elements – death and black metal in particular – KzR and HzR compose their own story. Bölzer emanates raw power, doing all the heavylifting and taming chaos. A while has passed since the release of their phenomenal debut album, Hero, but the sophomore record is locked and loaded, and all signs seem to point to the Swiss taking the new material out of the holster in the shipyard.

Disharmonic Orchestra

A legend of the Austrian scene. With their twisted trilogy from the early 90s – the albums Expositinsprophylaxe, Not to Be Undimensional Conscious, and Pleasuredome – Disharmonic Orchestra proved that extreme music knows no bounds. Avantgarde ideas and the courage to realise them, however, did not mean that the band has ever denounced their death/grind identity, certainly not when they play live.

Knife Bride

Pioneers and masters of the genre that they themselves christened nu-gothika and in which you will find echoes of metalcore, emo rock and nu-metal, among others. Full-throttle concerts and emotionally charged songs quickly made way for this four-piece from Brighton to reach the stages of the best festivals. Today, Knife Bride are counted among the most important representatives of the new wave of alternative metal from the Isles. More...
