American heavy metal band Fozzy, led by WWE Superstar Chris Jericho and Stuck Mojo founder Rich Ward, has announced that the group will be embarking on a tour of the United Kingdom this November, where Fozzy will share the headlining slot with Chicago hard rock outfit SOiL, as well as British alternative metal group Breed 77.
"The U.K. has always been Fozzy's second home, and after the amazing experience we had rocking Download 2012, we couldn’t wait to return to the U.K.," adds frontman Chris Jericho. "That’s why this tour with Soil is so huge for us. To be able to come back to England, Scotland and Wales with a band of their stature is going to blow away our fans, their fans, and make new fans for both of us! Mark my words... for excitement, energy and pure value, Fozzy vs SOiL is going to be THE tour of the fall!!" More...
SOiL To Tour The UK With Original Vocalist
Chicago based hard rock outfit SOiL has announced that it will be embarking on a co-headlining tour of the United Kingdom this October with Puddle Of Mudd, during which the band will be joined by its first vocalist Ryan McCombs. McCombs recorded three albums with SOiL ("Throttle Junkies," "Scars" and "Redefine.") before leaving the group in 2004, joining Texas based alternative metal band Drowning Pool a year later.
"The UK has always been a true home for Soil" states bassist Tim King. "To also have Ryan (McCombs) singing and to be sharing the stage with Puddle Of Mudd will be something special for both us and the fans.”
“After the fantastic reception we got at Download this year, we’re excited to be coming back for our first proper UK run in years,” commented Puddle Of Mudd lead guitarist Paul Phillips. “We played a bunch of shows back in the day with SOiL so it’s gonna be nice to be on the road with them for this run.”

Soil Checks In With Road Report
Soil is currently on a coast to coast North American tour as direct support to Smile Empty Soul. The band's guitarist Adam checked from the road with the following comments : “Things in the SOIL camp are in full swing again as we have begun the Smile Empty Soul/SOIL tour! We have been out on the road for about three weeks now and we are moving along nicely. The guys in all the bands are cool as hell to get along with and the shows have been great. It makes for a very cool touring situation. We have been seeing a lot of old friends which is always cool and making a lot of new ones too.
“We have also had a lot of cool opportunities to drop by some radio stations and play some acoustic sets which has been very unique and cool for us. There a lot of stations show some love to our song ‘The Lesser Man,’ so we are doing our best to show the love back and come hang with them all. Please call into your local radio station and ask them to spin the new SOIL track! I am out for now and will give ya another update soon."
