Kill Ritual Seeking New Vocalist

After recruiting a new drummer late last year, SF Bay thrash and roll band Kill Ritual has parted ways with vocalist Josh Gibson.

The search is underway for a new vocalist, and with a new album already already written and in the final phase of recording, any killer vocalist can definitely put their stamp on the record. Kill Ritual comments:

"We’re looking for a traditional metal/hard rock style singer with a great writing style and melodic sense. We don’t care where you’re from as long as you rock! Obviously you must be fantastic and respect what we’ve already done but we are also not looking for clone of our last vocalist. Please check us out thoroughly at our website or our other various sites and apply if interested with audio or video and a photo please.

"We have big plans for this year and look forward to hearing from some quality applicants and moving onto the next chapter of the band. Please contact us at promo@rockngrowl.com or killritualmetal@gmail.com."

The new album will be mixed/mastered by Andy LaRocque at Sonic Train Studios once again. The band expects a Summer 2015 release of the yet untitled CD. Kill Ritual is:

Kill Ritual Streaming "Drop Dead Gorgeous"

Bay Are outfit Kill Ritual has made the unreleased track “Drop Dead Gorgeous” available for free download and streaming on SoundCloud and ReverbNation. Give it a listen below, or download your own copy over here.

The song comes as a thank you to all the fans that have supported the band the last few years. The song was recorded at Fossil Sound and engineered/produced by Kill Ritual guitarist Steve Rice.

Mr. Rice comments on the tune, “This track reflects a little different style for the band in some ways as it starts off very deceivingly with a ballad type intro, but gets to the Metal fairly quickly after that. It’s a nice tongue in cheek tale of the kind of girl you’d like to take home, but wish you hadn’t!”

In other Kill Ritual news, the band will complete the mixing and mastering of new album in March 2015 with Andy LaRocque handling the job at his Sonic Train Studios once again. A Summer 2015 release is expected. More...
