AVENGED SEVENFOLD has issued the following update:
"I'm sure you've heard the rumor that an AVENGED SEVENFOLD DVD is in the works and will be released some time this year. Well, I'm here to set the record straight and let you know there IS DEFINITELY going to be an AVENGED SEVENFOLD DVD out THIS SPRING, but we can't say much more other than filming just wrapped here in Huntington Beach and we're super pumped for you to see it. So stay tuned as the weeks go on for all the details and release info."
AVENGED SEVENFOLD frontman M. Shadows recently told MTV.com that the band plans to take its time writing the follow-up to 2005's "City of Evil". While the boys have been working on new material for a couple of months now, Shadows doesn't see the band hitting the studio until at least May. And when AVENGED do, the singer said they'll track the disc without the benefit of a seasoned producer. "We're 90 percent sure we're going to produce it ourselves," said Shadows, who recently helped produce THE CONFESSION's new LP. "We want to do it ourselves because we know what we want." He said fans can expect the album's tracks to be bigger and longer, and added that he hopes to have the disc out by the fall.

Let's all throw our copies into trash cans and light it on fire. That's twice as f***ing good as a regular bonfire too! Hopefully their DVD cover art will be more interesting than the gay sh** they have on their website design layout. And I can't wait to see all the posts that people are going to post too. And since then, I've hated their sh**ty music. Yes, Herman Li (not Lee fag) of DragonForce is a lot faster (speed metal), but his solos are f***ing amazing. Michael Amott of Arch Enemy has some great solos and ryhthms. Alexi Laiho has more talent then the combined talents of A7X all together. I mean seriously...you must a complete idiot to think that somehow in your inferior mind that A7X reflects the best musicians when they are seriously not...And vox, Mikael Stanne of Dark Tranquillity is an awesome singer as compared to the ear-splitting voice of m - fag. Even Angela Gossow can growl better. There is no f***ing comparison. Of course I'm leaving out some other great guitarists and singers whom people may mention, but the point is simply A7X f***ing sucks.

I'd have more luck digging for a needle in a hay stack than finding something I LIKE about them. That said, the band have -some- talent, but there isn't anything about their sound that is uniquely theirs or enjoyable.
Dragonforce is another can of worms entirely. I don't like them, at all...I find the vocals and lyrics irritating. The musicianship is so over the top as to be absurd, very "look what I can do". 0 feeling to any of it.
But their level of talent is incredible, and while they aren't exactly tilling fresh ground it's well beyond the yawn inspring c*** rock theatrics of A7X.

Oddly, there are people who like this band and also like more tasteful acts. To each their own, but everything that this band is, have been, and will be repulses me.
Just a matter of taste. I don't have anything against fans until they resort to name calling.

When I was 4 it was AC/DC, Van Halen and Aerosmith(my parents records). 6-10 it was all about Metallica and Megadeth (my uncles tapes).
At 11 I sorta lost my way when the grunge thing hit. I fell pretty hard for Nirvana, Pearl Jam, AIC, Soundgarden, NIN, FNM etc....
Got back on track with Pantera, Slayer and Tool at 12-15.
No shame in starting with Limp Bizkit.
I picked up their debut in a used rack for $6.99 in 1998, senior year in highschool. I remember thinking that Wes Borland had potential but that the band would never get anywhere with their singer....

I have several amps...but my favorite is an old Randall...it was made somewhere around 81-83....I found it on Ebay...and after I got it, I tried to do some research, because I have never seen anything like it.... Its a combo..but its got 4 -10s... so the techs at Randall told me that it was an experimental thing and they only made about a dozen of them... The damn thing puts out 300 watts...I have never been able to turn the volume past 3...it shakes the WHOLE house... the thing is a GOD Damn monster..it wieghs almost 100 lbs...good thing its on wheels.. haha

The Behemoth show was just flat out insane, probably THE most f***ing insane show I have ever been to. There was fog machines, pile-ons, HUGE pits, and me getting kicked in the face a few times. It was perfect.

Yngwie Malmsteen opened for AC/DC in '85...amazing..!!
GnR opened for AC/DC in '88...very cool..!! GnR was great back then...!!
Rush and Primus in '93...two of the greatest bass players ever to play the same tour...!!
Rolling Stones in '81 and '93..two different farewell tours..hahaha

Coolest thing I ever seen at a show- ( besides some chick blowing me in the middle of the crowd during a Kiss concert)-
Ted Nugent jumping off the stage and pisspounding a dude that threw a glass of something at him while he was in the middle of a song....The Nuge..stopped the song...threw his guitar down..jumped into the crowd and starting throwing his fists at this dude... IT was AWESOME..!!!!

As for your question about which album is better.?? I would have to honestly say its a tie...I like the debut as much as Paper Money..but Jump On It is equally as good too... I did hear the debut first though...on 8-track when I was just a wee little tike..!!
