156/Silence Premiere New Single & Music Video

Post-hardcore outfit 156/Silence have offered up another preview of their forthcoming album “From A Distance“. A music video for the track “Swept From Under (Call Of The Void)” has now premiered online, with Chris Klumpp (Gideon, Shadows Fall) handling the directorial duties. “From A Distance” is slated for a September 04th release via Pure Noise Records.
Starting next week, the band will head out as direct support for Chiodos on a summer North American tour also featuring sace6 and Second Harbour. Following that run, 156/Silence will continue their touring plans into the fall:

Hardcore band The Barbarians Of California have unleashed their latest track “REALLY REALLY RAD“. The song serves as the fifth advance single from the band’s upcoming sophomore album “MEGATONS“, which is due out August 21st. Whether or not the closing portion of the accompanying video will also be considered really rad is likely to remain a matter of personal taste.

King Ultramega Premiere New Soundgarden Cover

Chris Cornell tribute project King Ultramega have unveiled their latest homage to the late grunge icon, this time taking on Soundgarden‘s “Birth Ritual“ from the “Badmotorfinger” album and “Singles” soundtrack. Led by Metal Allegiance‘s Mark Menghi, the ongoing project continues to deliver star-studded tributes celebrating Cornell‘s extensive catalog.
Once again bringing in a former Soundgarden member, Menghi recruited drummer Matt Cameron for this new rendition. Halestorm vocalist/guitarist Lzzy Hale also returns for another contribution, joined by her Halestorm bandmate and partner, guitarist Joe Hottinger.

Chelsea Wolfe Premieres New Single & Music Video

Folk doom artist Chelsea Wolfe has announced the details for her ninth studio album “The Dark“, which is set to arrive on August 21st via Loma Vista. The news of the forthcoming record was unveiled today, following her recent pair of singles, including the album’s title track and “Death Is Not The End“.
Magdalena Wosinska directed the below music video for the newly released third single from the album, “Cold“, which is now available to view. Guest performers contributing to the effort include Robin Finck of Rock & Roll Hall Of Famers Nine Inch Nails, along with Matt Chamberlain (A Perfect Circle, Ghost) and members of Kælan Mikla.

A music video for homewrecker.‘s new track, “One day i will turn all this pain into something beautiful like an instagram post or story“, has now premiered online. The metalcore band will feature that song on their forthcoming debut album, the similarly lengthy-titled “Never knowing when, but knowing this will end“, which Prosthetic Records have scheduled for an August 28th release date. Adrian Dabu and the band’s own Dominic Baylock co-directed the newly unveiled visual.

Living Weapon (Vein.fm, Etc.) Premiere New Single

Mathcore outfit Living Weapon have released “Interspecies Quality Assessment” as the second single from their upcoming album, “Death In The Family.” The accompanying music video was directed by Eric Richter (Knocked Loose, Dying Wish).
Featuring members of Vein.fm, Fleshwater and more, Living Weapon are set to release “Death In The Family” digitally on August 14th via Closed Casket Activities, with physical editions arriving in September. The band previously introduced the record earlier this month with the lead single, “The Leaving Process,” which also arrived with a music video directed by Richter.
Imminence Premiere New Single & Music Video

Swedish alternative metalcore outfit Imminence have returned with another medieval-inspired music video, this time for their brand new single, “False Light.” Once again teaming up with director Pavel Trebukhin (Sylosis, Gaerea), the band continue expanding the dark fantasy world first introduced with their previous single, “The Sword That Never Bends.”

Marilyn Manson Premieres New Music Video

Marilyn Manson has premiered an official music video for his latest single, “Front Toward Enemy.” Released last week as the second preview of his upcoming album, “One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2,” the track actually traces its origins back to the sessions for his previous record, having first surfaced as the b-side to the “Raise The Red Flag” single. Henri Alexander Levy directed the newly released video. “One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2” is due out on August 14th.
The divisive shock rocker has also expanded his series of shows marking the 30th anniversary of his platinum-certified sophomore album “Antichrist Superstar.” Following the announcement of a now sold-out two-night residency at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA this past March, Manson has added additional dates in New Orleans, San Antonio and Austin, TX. Hatebreed Premiere New Music Video

Metalcore veterans Hatebreed have officially announced their ninth studio album, “Fatal Paradox.” While details of the Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Shadows Fall)-produced record surfaced ahead of schedule, pre-orders are now officially live via ffm.bio/hatebreed-fatalparadox. “Fatal Paradox” is set for release on November 06th through BLKIIBLK.
The band have also officially premiered the official music video for its lead single, “Kill Count Increase”, both of which now available for streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you below. Although the track has already found its way into the band’s recent live sets, this marks the first official online release of the studio version.
