Vengeful Posts Album Progress Update
Canada's Vengeful has checked in with the following update about the band's upcoming album:
"Greetings! Time to let the outside in on what's been happening in our world.....
"We've just started mixing our new album for which we actually have a title but we'll save it for another post. Hugues Deslauriers (Augury) is now back on board to assure that this offering is as in-your-face as can be. We would also like to take this opportunity to announce the return of Olivier Pinard (Neuraxis) in our ranks. Is presence was definately missing during is time apart from Vengeful.
"There has been a few hickups with the painting that will become the album's cover but our long time illustrator Martin Lacroix is putting the finishing touches to the masterpiece in his vast body of work to this date. Needless to say everything is looking pretty fuckin' sick. The album should be released at the end of November/begining of December. An official date will follow.
"Death keeps on striking hard lately."

Neuraxis Comments On Upcoming Album
Montreal based death metallers Neuraxis have finished writing for their upcoming album. The band has now offered a final update before entering the Wildsound Studio next week with producer Chris Donaldson to start the recording process for the upcoming 6th studio album.
Vocalist Alex Leblanc comments: “Time for an update... First of all, the writing is finished. We decided to add an extra song and I love it. A brutal, in-your-face song that’s going to surprise a lot of people. Overall this album has a much darker and twisted feeling that will bring shivers down your spines. Rob really outdid himself writing the new album. His ideas are sick, his riffing is more intense than ever and his songwriting is just better overall. I think this album is really going to make him shine and put him among one of the best in his genre.
"Tiger (Oli Beaudoin) is preparing himself like a madman. He's doing cardio, weight training, physiotherapy and practicing the songs every day, sometimes even twice a day. I have never seen a drummer being so intense towards his preparation for a studio session. He really came up with sick beats for the new album, really bringing the intensity of the songs up a notch.
"Fetus (Oli Pinard) is bringing the bass to a whole new level in this band. He's very skilled and understands exactly what he has to do, putting just the right amount to complement the guitar work while throwing a few curve balls here and there. Bass enthusiasts will love what he's doing on our new record. More...
Neuraxis Gearing Up To Enter The Studio
Montreal-based death metallers Neuraxis will enter Wildsound Studio on June 3rd with producer Chris Donaldson to begin recording their sixth album for a fall release through Prosthetic Records. Commented vocalist Alex Leblanc:
"Chris is an excellent producer. He's been a friend of mine for years, played in some bands with him and already worked with him in the studio on some other projects. He's also the most easy going guy around. Working with him is going to be a blast for sure. We are almost done with the writing process for the new album; maybe one or two more songs to go. It's going to be a powerful album. Dark, vicious, catchy, technical, melodic; everything you can expect from a Neuraxis album with some unexpected twists. We have two more shows this weekend, then we will rehearse the new songs for a month, putting the final touches and get ready to shred in the studio. It's going to be a blast...We can't wait to play the new songs on the road for you guys."
The band's last shows before hitting Wildsound Studio are:
4/23 - Rimouski, QC @ Cactus
4/24 - Quebec, QC @ L'Agitee
