Directed by veteran director Josh Knoff (As I Lay Dying, Asking Alexandria), NBR offers support for our country's men and women enlisted in the armed forces and the struggles they deal with upon returning home. Lead singer Mike Perez offers his thoughts: "I'm happy but not just because it's my favorite track off the album, but because of the message behind it. Also, I'm glad we went the soldier route. I don't think people understand the emotional strain some of them have to deal with when returning back to normal life." More...

"The album art looks great! I think Portland hit the nail right on the head. It's pretty cool to see what he did with the ideas we gave him. Naming our songs is our least favorite part of the process but I think we have some pretty solid names in there. I hope people appreciate the flow of the album, a lot of thought was put into it!"

No Bragging Rights Signs With eOne Music

Riverside, California's No Bragging Rights has signed a worldwide record deal with eOne Music. "The guys and I are beyond stoked to be a part of the GoodFight/eOne family. We feel this will be a good fit for us as we grow and continue moving forward," says frontman Mike Perez.

The following press release was also issued about the band:

"No Bragging Rights began to take its present shape in the summer of 2005. Leading up to that point, the band members had been veterans of the southern California pop punk scene before they began work on their first self released full length album, 'Because You Believe in Something Beyond Them.'

"NBR was at a crossroads. Member changes and new ideas took them in a heavier, more hardcore oriented direction. The early 2006 release was well received in the local scene and helped establish the band outside of their home town.

"NBR went on to release three more records over the next five years. Most notably 'Illuminator,' recorded at Lambesis Studios featuring the hit single 'Blind Faith.'

"Beyond excited with the last album, the band returned to Lambesis Studios to record their new record which according to the band, is their most forward thinking material to date. Mixed by Kelly 'The Carnage' Cairns at One Light Media in Las Vegas, fans can expect the new record to be released later this year."

No Bragging RIghts is:

Mike Perez (vocals)
Christian Lee (guitars)
Daniel Garrow (guitars)
Martin Alcedo (drums)
Ryan Warrell (bass)

No Bragging Rights Recording New Album

Riverside, CA melodic hardcore band No Bragging Rights will shack up at One Light Media recording studios in Las Vegas, Nevada next month. The band will start tracking a brand new album with Kelly Cairns (As I Lay Dying, Austrian Death Machine, Molotov Solution, Chelsea Grin, War Of Ages, Impending Doom, Sworn Enemy) who worked on the band's last album "Illuminator," which was released January of last year.

No Bragging Rights completed many tours this past year with appearances at the New England Metal & Hardcore Festival, The Jamboree, and many other notable festivals, and could not be more thrilled to take time off and start recording a new album.

Guitarist Daniel Garrow had the following to say, "We're excited to work with Kelly again because we know this record is a priority and he's sure to capture what we're going for. My personal goals for these songs weren't necessarily based on structure or 'rules' but what feels right; trying to stay within a melodic balance throughout the duration on the song. There's something for everyone in there if you liked our last two full lengths! We're very excited to release this material and tour heavily!"

A new label announcement is on the way, so stay tuned. More...
