Attila Frontman's Home Got Burglarized This Week

Attila vocalist Chris Fronzak isn’t having the greatest holiday season this year, having returned home this week from a cruise only to find thieves had broken into his Florida home. Fronzak frequently shows off his luxurious lifestyle via social media and had been sharing pics from the cruise while away, which could have potentially tipped off burglars to target the house. The extent of the burglary has not yet been revealed, but Chris Fronzak - again - took to social media today to comment:

I’m at a loss for words right now..... my house got broken into & burglarized while I was away. This is incredibly frustrating and stressful... I can assure you that security measures have been taken to make sure this will never happen again. It’s already happened to several people in my neighborhood too.... ugh. Anyways, thanks for the kind words and support. Me & the fam are going to figure all of this out and still try to have a good Christmas. I want to give an extra special thank you to anyone that picks up something from @staysickthreads over the next week. It won’t replace everything that has been stolen from me but it will surely help, and I appreciate that a lot. Thanks for being understanding.

Warner Bros. Records has acquired Artery Recordings. In a statement former president Shan Dan Horan confirms the news, which saw the entire staff of the label let go:

"To address the rumors, yes, Artery has been sold to Warner. I can’t disclose too much about the deal, but building up this company to a million record sales in just five years is a tremendous accomplishment for the fans, our artists and the team. I’m humbled and appreciate each and every band I’ve ever had the honor of developing at Artery Recordings. As we hand over the keys to Warner, I’m not quite sure their plans for the label or catalog, but I hope they keep the legacy alive. With new Slaves and Capture albums on the horizon, I’m sure the fans will be ecstatic."

In the past Artery Recordings' output included releases from Attila, Chelsea Grin, Kublai Khan and various others. Vents guitarist Jacob Harmond of Chelsea Grin, who put out 3 albums through the label, on the matter via Twitter: More...

WFAHM Accuses Attila Of Stealing Song

The new Attila album "Chaos" is here, and War From A Harlots Mouth isn't too pleased about it, accusing the band of blatantly lifting a segment from the track "If You Want To Blame Us For Something Wrong, Please Abuse This Song."

War From A Harlots Mouth comments: "The undoubtedly most mentally challenged band on planet earth, Attila, blatantly ripped us off. Not that I'm surprised that these imbeciles can't write music of their own, but unfortunately for them, they picked one of our most widely known songs: 'If You Want to Blame Us...' Losers."

The two songs in question can be heard below, and while there are major differences, there is one segment in particular between the two songs that is intensely similar. What do you think - coincidence due to musical similarities, or blatant rip-off? More...
