Pyramaze Debuts "Bloodlines" Video
Taken off their critically acclaimed, seventh studio album "Bloodlines" (released on June 23, 2023 via AFM Records,) Danish prog and power metal band, Pyramaze, has premiered a studio video for the song "Taking What's Mine." You can check it out below.
Pyramaze Announces New Album "Bloodlines"
Following their much acclaimed 2020 album Epitaph, Danish prog-and power metal masters Pyramaze have announced the release of their forthcoming full-length record, entitled "Bloodlines." The album will be out on June 23, 2023 via AFM Records.
After Pyramaze previously shared single, "Broken Arrow," they now premiere a music video for new single "Fortress." The band comments:
“Fortress has Pyramaze incorporating some of their traditional elements and melding it with a modern cinematic atmosphere. With hard hitting staccato strings, soaring and powerful vocals, driving rhythm guitars and drums, and moving and melodic keyboard passages, “Fortress” should please fans of both older and newer Pyramaze."

Pyramaze Uploads New Lyric Video
Danish progressive power metal group, Pyramaze, have released a lyric video for the song "The Time Traveller" (featuring Matt Barlow and Lance King), from their latest album, Epitaph, out now AFM Records. You can watch the lyric video below.

Pyramaze Posts New Lyric Video Online
Danish progressive power metal band Pyramaze has posted a new lyric video online for the song, "Particle." You can check it out below. The song comes from the band's forthcoming new album, "Epitaph," which is scheduled to be released through AFM Records on November 13th.
Pyramaze Announces New Album
Danish Progressive Power Metal group Pyramaze has just inked a record deal in order to put out their next full-length studio album called "Epitaph" via AFM Records. The album will be released on November 13th – pre-order starts now.
Both AFM Records and Pyramaze are extremely happy about the deal and are looking forward to a strong, professional and hopefully long partnership. This new musical union offers good prospects for both parties – while Pyramaze found a partner that has great expertise working with a lot of successful Progressive and Power Metal artist such as Evergrey, Orden Ogan, Redemption, Brothers Of Metal and many more, the band offers a tremendous amount of musical and technical craftmanship and quality to add to the labels roster.
This album being the third one with their current lineup, Pyramaze continues to fuse their signature meld of memorable melodies, powerful riffs and soaring catchy vocals to keep listeners coming back for more - pleasing both old and new Pyramaze fans alike. This upcoming release will prove to be their most melodic and accessible creation to date, featuring guest appearances by Brittney Slayes of Unleash the Archers, and former Pyramaze singers Matt Barlow and Lance King.

Pyramaze Announces New Album "Contingent"
Denmark based power/progressive metal act Pyramaze announced the impending release of the new album "Contingent." The album drops on April 28th in Europe and North America via Inner Wound Recordings. The album is the follow-up to 2015's "Disciples of the Sun" (reviewed here). Check out the teaser clip in the player below.
With the milestone fifth album "Contingent," Pyramaze has grown and matured into a band that is capable of satisfying fans while simultaneously continuing to break new ground. The incorporation of modern cinematic film score elements mixed with progressive metal riffs and melodies will leave the listener breathless! Huge, sweeping, hard-hitting, and poignant, "Contingent" is an epic post-apocalyptic conceptual piece inspired by current events, the human spirit to overcome struggle and diversity, and the brotherhood that lies there in. The album was produced, mixed and mastered by guitarist/bassist Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Amaranthe, Epica, Evergrey).

Pyramaze Keyboardist Joins Universal Mind Project
International progressive metal act Universal Mind Project announced the addition of Jonah Weingarten (Pyramaze) as the band's new keyboard player. The band recently released the debut album "The Jaguar Priest" back in May via Inner Wound Recordings. Weingarten introduces himself in the video clip below.
Guitarist Michael Alexander commented: "It is with great pleasure to welcome Jonah in our team of friends and musicians. His great work will fit perfectly with our ideas for the following works and his great personality for the stages as well.
"Jonah possess a wonderful sense of melody, great capabilities for cinematic and orchestral sounds which we are very much looking forward to add into our own style with Universal Mind Project. We are very happy having Jonah as a full creative band member now of the band, and we are looking forward to begin this journey with all the guys as a whole, and create the best music we can. Welcome to the team Jonah!"
Weingarten commented: "It is an absolute honor to be asked to join Universal Mind Project and to join the ranks of such fantastic musicians and vocalists! I'm looking forward to contributing both creatively and personally to the music and unity of the band, while bringing my persona and energy simultaneously. Pyramaze Begins Work On New Album
Pyramaze has started work on a new, currently untitled, album for release in 2016. The follow-up to 2015's "Disciples of the Sun" (reviewed here) is currently being written and recorded on both sides of the ocean in Denmark and the USA.
This will mark the first time in the band's history releasing albums in consecutive years. Keyboardist Jonah W. comments:
"We are humbled and honored by the positive response by our fans for 'Disciples of the Sun,' and want to pay this forward by making our biggest, best, and most epic album to date. The truth of the matter is that our fans mean everything to us and are our main inspiration to forge onward.
"We believe that 2016 will be the biggest year for Pyramaze to date, and on behalf of myself, Toke, Jacob, Morten, and Terje, we want to wish you all a very happy and very Metal new Year!" More...
ProgPower USA Completes Day 1/2 Lineup
ProgPower USA promoters Glenn Harveston, Milton Mendonca and Nathan Block have announced that Germany's Blind Guardian has been named the headline act for Day 2 of ProgPower USA XVII on Thursday, September 8, 2015, joining the previously confirmed Day 2 acts: Pyramaze, Gloryhammer and Circus Maximus.
As for Day 1 (Wednesday, September 7, 2015), the lineup is anchored by DragonForce along with Lord, Stream of Passion and Spock's Beard.
Tickets for Days 1/2 go on sale on Saturday, December 5, 2015 via Ticketmaster.

ProgPower USA promoters Glenn Harveston, Milton Mendonca and Nathan Block have announced that U.K. power metal act DragonForce has been named the headline act for Day 1 of ProgPower USA XVII on Wednesday, September 7, 2015. The band joins previously announced Day 1 acts: Lord, Stream of Passion and Spock's Beard
As for Day 2 (Thursday, September 8, 2016), Pyramaze, Gloryhammer and Circus Maximus were previously announced.
The final headline slot - Glenn Harveston's pick for Day 2 (Thursday, September 7, 2015) - will be revealed on November 30th. Tickets for Days 1/2 will be available on December 4, 2015.

Pyramaze Added To ProgPower USA XVII
ProgPower USA promoters Glenn Harveston, Milton Mendonca and Nathan Block have announced that Denmark based progressive metal act Pyramaze will take the newly expanded fourth slot for Thursday, September 8, 2016, as the new opening band dubbed as "The People's Choice." The band joins previously announced Day 2 acts Gloryhammer (now in the second slot) and Circus Maximus.
As for Day 1 (Wednesday, September 7, 2016), Lord, Stream of Passion and Spock's Beard were previously announced.
