This song is pure, unfiltered aggression – exactly what we wanted to bring to the metalheads. Incite Debuts "Mental Destruction" Video
The time has finally come and Arizona thrash metallers Incite have released their new album "Wake Up Dead" today! Forged from blood and sweat, this new release combines the greatest strengths of extreme metal. Incite jettison the extraneous bloat of slicker bands in favor of authentic grit and determination. The very spirit of heavy music culture, and attitude, courses through the veins of singer Richie Cavalera, guitarist Eli Santana, bassist Christopher “EL” Elsten, and drummer Lennon Lopez. Across five full-length albums and a handful of EPs, the Arizona powerhouse declared war on injustice, wealth inequality, and a bevy of similar societal ills with focused rage and violent intent.
Singer Richie Cavalera comments: "After a year and half wait to unleash this beast, 'Wake Up Dead' is here! We’re all so proud of this record, the new songs kill, the old classics show everyone where we’ve come from musically, and the artwork absolutely slays lives. We’ve become part of an insane new team, and we’re all ready for the world to enjoy the hard work, and sacrifice we all have put into this album. Can’t wait to play it live for you metalheads real soon. Hella metal forever!"
For all those who can't make it to the shows, make sure to enjoy the band's new music video, directed by Vicente Cordero.
"Metalheads, we give you 'Mental Destruction' - it’s a new vibe for us musically", Richie adds. "It’s heavy, it has acoustic guitar, and an insane video. It’s about the collapse of one’s mental state and not doing anything or caring to change it. We all have the power to change who we are for the better, we just have to make it happen. This is a huge song for us on every level and shows the new boundaries we’re pushing with the band. Headbang your asses off!!!" More...
Incite Unveils New Visualizer Video
With the release date of their forthcoming new studio album "Wake Up Dead" being postponed to April 8th, Arizona thrash metallers Incite are even more excited to share another appetizer from the record with 'War Soup' today. The groovy and gritty new track is the first Incite song ever to feature the vocals of both Richie and Max Cavalera - a historical gathering of heavy metal generations - and deals with the courage of standing up against bullies.
Comments singer Richie Cavalera:
"Our new Jam 'War Soup” is one of the most kickass songs we’ve ever made! It’s brutal, it’s groovy, and it’s got Max Cavalera ripping vocals with us!!! Turn it up and headbang your asses off.
the song is about standing up to bullies, not being pushed around, speaking up, and fighting back. I’ve always been quiet, shy and to nice and people have taken advantage of me for that, so now I use my voice, my strength, to not be afraid."

Incite Reveals New Album Details
Arizona groove metal outfit, Incite, returns with new songs up their sleeves and have recently signed a contract with Atomic Fire Records. Following five relentless albums and an insane touring schedule under their belts, Richie Cavalera and his gang of misfits gear up for "Wake Up Dead," set for release on March 25. This infectious collection of raucous new tracks and remastered gems from their fifteen-plus year career proves once again that Incite are indeed the missing link between Machine Head and Lamb Of God.
On their five albums "The Slaughter" (2009), "All Out War" (2012), "Up In Hell" (2014), "Oppression" (2016), and "Built To Destroy" (2019), Incite cemented their reputation as one of America’s leading groove armadas, heavily hitting home with their blend of old-school thrash majesty, frantic aggression, melody, skill, and bravado. What began as a band of greenhorns driving around the States in a shitty van, thrashing small clubs, has evolved into a band with the potential, the passion, and the power to become one of metal’s biggest acts.
Written in several bouts of feverish inspiration during last year’s pandemic chaos, "Wake Up Dead" delivers the goods in the most relentless way. With recording duties again handled by legendary producer Steve Evetts (who Richie Cavalera notes is, “the only guy who can simultaneously record The Cure and Suicide Silence and pull it off”) in Omen Room Studios just outside Los Angeles, here’s a band that couldn’t be more comfortable with the place they’re in right now. Kicking off the proceedings with the open fire that is "Fuck With Me (Wake Up Dead)," the record’s menacing second track, "War Soup," will make a lasting impression on international heavy metal troops standing as the first Incite song ever to feature the vocals of both Richie and his step-father Max Cavalera, a historical gathering of heavy metal generations.
