Incite Releases "No Remorse" Video

Incite is set to release bludgeoning new offering, "Oppression," on April 22nd via Minus Head Records, featuring production from Steve Evetts.

Today Incite offers fans a chance to visualize the brutality with a new music video for "No Remorse." The video is directed by Robert Sexton (Hellyeah, Death Angel, Soulfly) and stars pin-up model Shonda Mackey-Cavalera as husband Richie's never-remorseful murderess.

"The video for 'No Remorse' will definitely have viewers on the edge of their seats," states vocalist Richie Cavalera. "We brought back director Robert Sexton, who always tries to push boundaries, and he surely did on this one. We wanted a video that showcased powerful women killing men and doing it with no remorse. Each member of the band is killed a different way. The video ends with a final bloodbath as all four women hold their kill for the world to see. You'll definitely watch it over and over again trying to catch all the subtle details in each murder." More...

Incite Announces "Oppression" Release

Incite is ready to drop another full-length record chock full of hard driving anthems, which will be the group's first release since 2014's "Up In Hell."

On April 22, 2016, the wait will be over, Incite's new album "Oppression" is coming via Minus Head Records. Produced by Steve Evetts (Dillinger Escape Plan, Suicide Silence, Every Time I Die) at Omen Room Studios in Garden Grove, CA during the fall of 2015, "Oppression" promises to deliver a level of ferocity, groove, and darkened melody unlike ever before.

Check out the first single "Stagnant" in the SoundCloud player below. Vocalist Richie Cavalera states, "This new album is without a doubt the one we're most proud of - to date. It's the most organic and aggressive album in the bands career. Working with Steve Evetts was a life changing experience for all of us.

"We learned and tried things that we never would have before, and were really able to harness the raw live energy that you get from our shows. We added a lot of new guitar work - more complicated solos, effects, and not to mention the vocal sound and structure is on a whole new level. Oppression is the rebirth of good old classic American Metal."

Incite is also about to embark on a 37-date European tour with Soulfly and King Parrot, kicking off this Friday, January 29th in Nottingham, UK. The first 17 dates of the tour will feature Lody Kong as special guest opener. More...

King Parrot Headed To Europe With Soulfly

After a triumphant run of the North American and Australian circuit, King Parrot will be touring Europe as direct support to Soulfly in January, February and March 2016. The bill will also include U.S. thrash/groove metallers Incite.

King Parrot will step foot on European soil for the second time since a March trek with Weedeater, giving fans the chance to live through the experience of new album, "Dead Set", in the flesh. The album was released in May 2015 on Agonia Records, shortly after the band's nomination for a Metal Hammer (UK) Golden God Award.

Commented by frontman Matt Young: "Having the opportunity to tour with Soulfly through the UK and Europe is an honour and we are really looking forward to our most extensive tour of the continent. Our new record 'Dead Set' has been received really well there, but it's our live show where the band excels. We feel like our live performance is pushing boundaries within the extreme realm of music, so having this chance to perform in a lot of new places is really important to us. We look forward to bring our new brand of chaos to the stages across Europe in 2016." More...

Incite Releases "WTF" Video

Incite wishes you a Happy Halloween with a brand new necro-tastic, NFSW music video. Check out "WTF" below, thanks to Bloody-Disgusting.com.

The video stars Playboy model Carissa White alongside horror actor Brian Rohan, and features special FX by makeup artist Suzi Hale.

Director Robert Sexton is no stranger to horror film and video direction, as winner of the Best Director and Best Actor accolades at the Eerie Film Festival and the man behind music videos by bands such as Hellyeah, Death Angel, The Devil Wears Prada, and more.

Sexton states, “This is as close to a happy ending-ending that I've ever directed. I am humbled and thankful for this opportunity to show the world that the worm, does indeed, conquer all. It was a blast working with Richie Cavalera and Incite. This song kicks ass. After watching this video, the viewer may have only one question that beckons an answer.... WTF did I just watch? Kudos to Carissa White and Brian Rohan for acting without fear, Suzi Hale and her makeup team for the SPFX and the whole crew for going above and beyond the call.”

Incite frontman Richie Cavalera adds, “This video is insane from beginning to end. It really makes you say ‘WTF’ once you've watched it. Robert really took it to the next level on this one and we’re fired up for you to see it.”

Incite kicks off a tour with 36 Crazyfists, Skinlab, and All Hail the Yeti today in South Lake Tahoe, CA. The tour hits 20 western and central U.S. cities before wrapping up in Chico, CA on November 23rd. See below for a full listing of dates. More...

Metalunderground.com Official Podcast, Episode 35

In addition to the upcoming Attila show at Fort Lauderdale’s Revolution Live on Friday, November 14th (supported by Crown The Empire and Like Moths To Flames), we at the MetalUnderground.com Official Podcast are now staging another ticket giveaway contest through the same venue: The Ghost Inside (supported by Every Time I Die and Architects) on Sunday, November 30th. If interested, submit your full name matching your ID to podcast@metalunderground.com with one of the headlining bands in the subject line.

We launch this week’s episode with the song “These Empty Skies” from Keychain, a melodic hard rock five-piece based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The band formed in Novi Sad, Serbia, in 2009 covering songs by Godsmack, Shinedown, and (hold your tongue) Nickelback. After a disbandment and reformation, Keychain is currently working on a full-length original studio album.

Then co-host Mike Smith (OverkillExposure) reports on his adventures this week on the road. He joined members of Lynchburg, Virginia metallers Mourn The Illusion on a whirlwind trek through North Carolina, starting with a headlining show by Italy’s Lacuna Coil at Greensboro’s Greene Street Club and a lively interview with the warm and lovely Cristina Scabbia (vocals). The following day came a jaunt over to Tremont Music Hall in Charlotte, an intimate, underground, sparsely promoted show, and a “special evening with” Soulfly and the entire Cavalera Tribe. Stay tuned for Mike’s rundown of events.

Finally - and you knew we couldn’t leave this one alone - Mike and co-host Kevin Perez (n0thinghead) serve up the in-depth review and analysis you’ve been anticipating (or dreading) for months: Slipknot’s upcoming fifth full-length “.5: The Gray Chapter.” While reactions on at least one of our parts are a tad early, and a patented opinion might require a few more listens, we nonetheless do our enthusiastic best to describe in thorough detail the essence of this fascinating and rather unpredictable work of metal (and yes, Slipknot IS metal).

Listen in here, subscribe via iTunes or RSS feed, and enjoy! And not to worry - after today, we’re finished with Slipknot for the foreseeable future. Perhaps.

Incite Announces New Album "Up In Hell"

Phoenix, AZ natives and modern thrashers Incite, founded by Richie Cavalera, son of Soulfly's Max Cavelara, recently finished the recordings for the upcoming new album entitled "Up In Hell." The band's third full length release will be out on September 2, 2014 via Minus HEAD Records.

The band took up studio time with Matt Hyde (Deftones, Slayer, Hatebreed, Parkway Drive) at Hideaway Studios, who produced, recorded, mixed and mastered the record. Production assistance was provided by Thomas Bellier and Jon Nicholson of Drum Fetish is credited as drum technician on the album.

“Matt Hyde definitely took us out of our comfort zone, but the result is, in my opinion, the best INCITE album to date,” adds bassist Christopher “EL”. Drummer Lennon adds, “This record has everything. It grooves, it slams, it thrashes, it stomps and it moshes!”

Vocalist Richie Cavalera added: “Matt was incredible was the perfect person to head us in the right direction in every way. I feel this album captures INCITE perfectly from the drums to the guitar to bass it’s all just how it needed to be. He worked us hard and pushed us the max to get the best out of each member and each song. I had times where i wanted to give up but he just said keep doing it you'll get it and that’s what you need someone to push you but still keep you focused. He paid attention to everything and i loved that he told us when something sucked and when it was awesome. He got me to build structure like never before on lyrics and i think that’s what you notice right away on this record. I couldn't have asked for a better person, he has the history and the knowledge we wanted and thank him every day for this record.”

The track listing for "Up in Hell" is:
