INCITE Premiere New Single & Music Video "Just A Rat"

Phoenix, AZ-based groove metal outfit INCITE has unleashed a new standalone single, Just A Rat, streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you now below. The band once again teamed up with producer Steve Evetts (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Suicide Silence), while Arthur Rizk (Soulfly, Blood Incantation) handled mixing duties.

Accompanying the track is a music video co-directed by Jim Louvau (Kittie, Jerry Cantrell) and Tony Aguilera. Just A Rat also marks INCITE’s first release since joining forces with Reigning Phoenix Music.

Vocalist Richie Cavalera shared his thoughts on this first glimpse of what’s to come:

“‘Just A rat‘ is our first single and it’s unique, heavy and, to me, moving metal into a whole new, fresh direction. I wanted the lyrical content to be very relatable and god knows we’ve all dealt with a rat at some point in our lives.”
