Bassist Peter de Reyna on "A Fortress Called Home":
“This album will build you up and tear you down in true Seven Spires fashion. I couldn’t be prouder of the life that’s been created in this, our fourth record. Revel in the anguish, bask in the glory, and we will see you on the other side.”
About the single "Almosttown," frontwoman Adrienne Cowan comments:?
"It's a song about questioning yourself, your choices, the road behind and ahead, and the lonely bed you habitually make and lie in. It’s yearning for the impossible; the elusive, the intangible."
Guitarist Jack Kosto follows up: "We knew pretty early on that this would be a perfect first single, as it’s a really fun and somewhat gentle introduction into the subject matter of this album. It’s got all of the fun stuff: riffs, hooks, musical chops, and a gorgeous castle we were lucky enough to film the music video in!" More...

Seven Spires Reveals New Album Details
Fronted by the multi-faceted voice of singer Adrienne Cowan, acclaimed US metal quartet Seven Spires return with their third and most ambitious album to date, "Gods Of Debauchery," which is set for release on 10th September via Frontiers Music Srl.
Seven Spires specialise in melancholic tales and tenebrous grandeur. Part apocalyptic yet melodic and anthemic death/black metal exponents, and part Romantic Classical poets, they are storytellers who draw from across the metal spectrum and beyond to weave tragedies of demons, death, love and the peculiarities of the human condition.
Continuing the 'hero’s journey' concept of their two previous albums, "Solveig" (2017) and "Emerald Seas" (2020), the band state that new single ‘Gods Of Debauchery’ became the title track "because it was the perfect exposition for the story and the mindset of our hero: a loathing-laced mockery of who he was in the events of our other albums. He had got everything he ever wanted, but at the cost of his humanity, and there was no way back, no second chance, no way to redeem himself."
As an album, "Gods Of Debauchery" offers a stylistic feast, even within the broad church of metal. Encompassing symphonic, progressive, black and death elements, as well as emotional ballads, it is an exquisite sonic and lyrical journey for all listeners, presenting a band deserving of a place at the forefront of the genre. Seven Spires Releases New Single
Acclaimed US quartet Seven Spires have released a brand new single entitled 'The Cursed Muse' today. The song sees the group seamlessly blending their love of heavy, symphonic and black metal into a mesmerising mixture that is fast, furious and catchy.
"'The Cursed Muse' sees the reintroduction of the exhausted hero from our two albums released to date," the band explain. "Haunted by demons of his past, this sea captain turned psychopomp contemplates the future: a lonesome eternity riddled with regret, resentment and the crushing belief that he does not deserve happiness."
The single serves as an appetiser for a forthcoming epic new studio album by Seven Spires due out this autumn via Frontiers, more details of which will be revealed soon. More...

Seven Spires Premiere Video "Drowner of Worlds"
American symphonic metal outfit Seven Spires premiere a new song and music video titled "Drowner of Worlds", taken from their upcoming new album "Emerald Seas", which is out February 14 via Frontiers.
Check out now "Drowner of Worlds" below.
Seven Spires Posts New Single Online
Seven Spires is an American metal quartet who draw influence from across the metal spectrum and beyond to tell their tales of demons, death, love and the peculiarities of the human condition.
"Emerald Seas" is their second album and is a highly emotional, dark and theatrical epic. Released via Frontiers, the band have joined the label’s rapidly expanding metal roster.
For the first single from the record, vocalist Adrienne Cowan states: “‘Succumb’ was written in Boston while we were attending college at Berklee. It began as vocals and piano, and we fleshed out the rest of the arrangement together. Everyone has their own experiences and will interpret the lyrics in their own way, but in the story of 'Emerald Seas’ the main character has departed on a long journey and is indulging in memories of someone special instead of focusing on their quest. It's a bittersweet one... but aren't they all?”
As hinted above, "Emerald Seas" itself is a theatrical concept work and is the prequel to the story of the band's debut full-length release, "Solveig." It follows a lone sea captain on his quest for eternal life while being hunted by an ancient beast and struggling with loneliness, sacrifice, alcoholism and the unexpected weight that comes with achieving one’s goals. Seven Spires’ signature blend of melancholic beauty and emotional brutality on ‘Emerald Seas’ is the sonic manifestation of the silent emptiness that can chill the insides when staring across bleak, open waters. U.S. theatrical metal outfit Seven Spires premieres the pre-release full-album stream of the band's upcoming new full-length concept album "Solveig", which will be out in stores August 4th. With distinct attention to melancholic power metal, melodic death, and black metal, Seven Spires fuse sounds from across the spectrum of metal with their great love for Romantic composers, and the atmospheric and storytelling capabilities of film scores.
"The human soul is a complex, multifaceted nebula of memories, intentions, and dreams,” says vocalist Adrienne Cowan, "And in order to fully express this in a story-driven album, I think it is so important to use every musical tool available to us. You can expect everything from regal black metal, bittersweet power metal during brighter moments in the story, and even a little doom metal in the darkest depths."

Seven Spires Posts New Song "Serenity"
After the bad ass rockin' "The Cabaret Of Dreams" the power metal hymn "Stay" and the blackish "The Paradox" (premiered via MetalUnderground.com), U.S. theatrical metal outfit Seven Spires show off another new face with "Serenity" and prove that the band is far away from having reached its musical boundaries. This time the highly talented four-piece deliver a modern melodic death cocktail accentuated with subtle symphonic arrangements:
"We wanted to write something moshable, straightforward, and catchy," says vocalist Adrienne Cowan, "but more importantly, 'Serenity' is a song about the fear of pain, and the lengths people will go to escape it." Check it out in the player at the bottom.
Seven Spires' new concept album "Solveig" will be available worldwide on August 4th! Pre-order the album on iTunes and Amazon. All digital pre-orders come with instant downloads of the tracks "The Cabaret of Dreams" and "The Paradox."

Seven Spires Creates "The Paradox"
With new theatrical piece "Solveig," the male-backed American metal band Seven Spires is about to pull off a major coup in the ever-growing symphonic metal scene.
This debut album, which is to be released worldwide on August 4th, 2017 via SAOL, indeed succeeds in establishing the four-piece orchestra as an essential figure of tomorrow’s extreme soundscape. Today, Seven Spires has teamed up with MetalUnderground.com for the world premiere of "The Paradox" music video.
You can pre-order "Solveig" now through iTunes at this location or via Amazon.com over here.
The wide stylistic range embraced by Seven Spires’ art of musical storytelling relentlessly attests of the outstanding abilities of the band’s members. Going astray from melancholic power metal to melodic death metal with fierce forays into black metal, the quartet’s versatility never fails to make a deep impression on the listener. Their signature blend of melody, theatrics and high-caliber musicianship is tastefully bittersweet, chaotic at times and comforting at others.
“Solveig” tells the story of a lost soul and his journey through a Demon’s sunless neo-victorian underworld. Despite small glimmers of hope, it is a grim tale with a heavy focus on escapism, death and decadence. The love for Romantic composers and epic film scores the four young graduates/students of the prestigious Berklee College of Music have shows in their ambitious and emotionally moving dramatic vision.
Frontwoman Adrienne Cowan leads the band with an iron will and a golden voice. She employs a combination of her classical training and self-taught extreme vocal techniques to "deliver every bit of recorded promise live." Therefore, the strict operatic singing that is often found in the symphonic corner of metal is more of a spice than a staple for Seven Spires. More...
