Nightrage Unveils "Dance Of Cerberus" Lyric Video
Greek/Swedish melodic death metal stars, Nightrage, have released a lyric video for "Dance Of Cerberus," featured on their upcoming album, Abyss Rising, available in February. Watch the clip below.
"‘Dance Of Cerberus’ is a straight forward Nightrage signature style kind of song, that me and Magnus wrote and it has all these elements that characterize our sound. Heavy melodic riffs, sweet harmonies, and aggressive vocals. I love the intro with the super melodic harmonies and how that goes to a very heavy start for the song. The vocals on the chorus are super heavy and melodic at the same time, and they incorporate this new style, with clean vocals on the background, that makes the chorus very wide and open. Ronnie did a great job there with this nice blend of his heavy and clean vocals. This song is about us humans and our undying hunger and lust. And this eternal search for quick and easy pleasures make us crawl in our own filth just to get the next fix with no thought of the consequences." – Marios Iliopoulos (Guitarist)

Nightrage has released a music video for the single, "The Damned", featured on the forthcoming album, "Wolf To Man," where the band invites us to a mesmerizing melodic musical journey, telling the truthful story that guides us all the way to the inevitable demise of mankind. The music delivers a delicate and well-balanced blend between brutality and melody, as well as an intricate mix of thrashing riffs and hook filled choruses.

Greek/Swedish extreme metal band Nightrage has posted their new single, "By Darkness Drawn" online for streaming. You can check it out below. Speaking about the song, the band stated:
"With ‘By Darkness Drawn’ we wanted to combine our trademark NR guitar melodies with a straightforward thrash metal drive clashing straight into groovy yet hooking chorus. A straightforward Nightrage song so to say. And that is what we think “By Darkness Drawn” is! A kick ass thrasher!
"The lyrics for this song pretty much sums up the concept and theme of the album and it handles the fact we are all doomed and we know it. Earlier this month the Greek/Swedish melodic death metal act Nightrage joined Firewind on the “Immortals Over Greece 2017” tour. Now the video footage for "The Venomous", from the Athens show (December 16th), has been posted online.
Buried Realm Premieres "Asphyxiation’s Lullaby"
Colorado musician/vocalist Josh Dummer's solo project Buried Realm premieres a new song entitled "Asphyxiation’s Lullaby", taken from the upcoming new album "The Ichor Carcinoma", which is set for release on September 29th, 2017.
The release boasts a list of guest appearances including Bob Katsionis (Firewind, Septicflesh), Brandon Ellis (Arsis, The Black Dahlia Murder, Cannabis Corpse), Christopher Amott (Arch Enemy, Armageddon), Dean Paul Arnold (Vital Remains), Marios Iliopoulos (Nightrage), Peter Wichers (Soilwork), Ryan Strain (Recode The Subliminal), Teemu Mäntysaari (Wintersun), and Travis Montgomery (Threat Signal, Jeff Loomis band).

Today, Swedish melodic death metal act Nightrage has teamed up with Metal Underground.com to unleash the new single "Affliction." The song is lifted from the band's upcoming full length "The Venomous," which will be issued via Despotz Records on March 31st. Pre-orders can be made at this location.
"Affliction" sees the band at it's hardest hitting and most melodic in a fifteen year history. The band commented: "'Affliction' has depth and character and is 100% Nightrage. We believe it has the potential to become a fan favourite. With 'Affliction' we wanted to express a more melodic and diverse side to our song writing, without losing the heaviness that Nightrage is well known for. Maximum Rock Adds Four More Bands
Maximum Rock Festival returns this year with a new edition spread across 4 massive days of concerts and various other activities, which shall take place between October 15th - 18th in two different venues - Colectiv Club and Arenele Romane in Bucharest, Romania.
A total of 25 bands will perform at the event inlcuding Epica, Annihilator, Sirenia, Skalmold, Zonaria, Nightrage, Silent Wedding, Kistvaen, Harlott, Archer, Gothic, Hatemode and Crimena.
Today the festival organizers announce four more additions to the lineup: Tiarra, Enemy Of Reality, Dimlight, and Sorrowful Angels. Stay tuned for more confirmations soon. More...

Greek/Swedish melodic death metal band, Nightrage, has announced an April 24th, 2015 release date for its sixth studio album, "The Puritan," due out on Despotz Records.
Album number six was produced by Daniel Bergstrand (Meshuggah, Devin Townsend, Soilwork) and George Nerantzis at Dugout Productions in Uppsala, Sweden.
Today we're stoked to premiere a lyric video for the title track, which can be found below. Guitarist/founder Marios Iliopoulos also had this to say about the song:
“’The Puritan’ is one of the first songs that we wrote for the album. The title and the concept is symbolic, showcasing our hunger and relentless passion for our music. It’s about not giving up and clashing with every kind of obstacle, but continuing no matter what to fight for our ideals, honoring the music that we love to play.
“Musically, it has this Thin Lizzy/Iron Maiden twin guitar attack on the riffs, along with the signature Nightrage harmonies. We felt this track was the right opening song for the new album, since it´s fast, energetic and also has some really big vocal hooks from Ronnie on the chorus. You get the idea of the feeling for the whole album by listening to the song; this idea of what melodic death metal means to us is really represented here. The song is punchy and metal to the bone.
“The great duo at Dug Out Productions, Daniel Bergstrand and George Nerantzis, helped us make the song sound so good, loud and powerful. Ronnie Nyman makes an amazing vocal performance, and we have a great collaboration here. His ideas and vocal melodies are so powerful and really make an amazing contrast with the Nightrage riffs and harmonies.” More...
