@ Hatethis - You're an @$$hole sucker. Album after album this band drops some of the heaviest sh**. A major thing I love about this band, is that you know what to expect. You want some heavy heavy, breakdown after breakdown. Listen to this band.
Also, have you hear their cover CD? Or Kingdom of Sorrow? You are the moron, sir. You are also a rotting tree trunk covered in acid cum.

As a professional session musician, I have to say this is one of the most inspirational band I have heard.
Straight-to-your-face hardcore with lyrics to cheer you up anytime you need. Hatebreed is Hatebreed and sounds like nothing else. They may not have the musicianship some other bands have, but who cares. It's not musicality that makes Hatebreed a great band. It's all about their worthy, inspirational lyrics backed with simple but efficient heavy riffs. That's what makes me love Hatebreed.
Less is more dude. You should have learned that "as a professional musician".

As a long time hatebreed fan I think this album is pretty good. Yes, most Hatebreed albums do sound pretty similiar, but they are amazing live...looking forward to seeing them in a week or so with shadows fall and dying fetus. The first poster is an obvious troll, and a poor one at that. Talk behind a computer screen is cheap...I highly doubt he would walk up to someone in a Hatebreed shirt and run his mouth so carelessly.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the "rotting tree trunk covered in acid cum" idea...
That is some fvcked up necrodendrophiliac sh!t right there, man...wow
As far as Hatebreed goes, the music is decent enough, but I ain't a fan of the vocal...at all. Never could get into it
Had a lot of hopes for Kingdom (wicked music), but again, the redundant 'barking dog' vox just killed that sh!t for me
it's cool that you guys like it though ;)

The Divinity of Purpose is a pretty strong album for these guys, more in line with their first 3 albums. Hatebreed do what they do, they do it well. Been a fan since '97. Best work since "Perseverance". Nothing wrong with a little "chugga chugga" breakdowns every now and then. I mean Slayer have been putting out the same album for 25 years, worked well for them...

As a professional session musician, I have to say this is some of the most untalented, obnoxious, revolting trash I have ever heard. did not one of these idiots ever take a music lesson? Get a clue. If you are a fan of these idiots, learn a little something about music, and you will see these rip off artists for what they are. Cheap untalented morons living it up on your dime. LMFAO
