Satan Comments On Upcoming Album "Life Sentence"

NWOBHM band Satan has acquired Dario Mollo to mix new album "Life Sentence." Mollo is part of Tony Martin's Headless Cross touring project and has worked with numerous artists as a producer and engineer, including Skyclad, Anathema, Cradle of Filth, and Glenn Hughes.

"Life Sentence" was recorded September - November 2012 at First Avenue Studios, Newcastle and is now being mixed and mastered by Mollo at Damage Inc. Studio in Italy for a March/April 2013 release via Listenable Records.

The band comments: "We're really happy to have Dario on board to mix the album. We've already had a few tracks back and they sound amazing. We wanted to capture the energy the band produce when playing live and we've done just that."

The "Life Sentence" track listing is as follows:

1. Time To Die
2. Twenty Twenty Five
3. Cenotaph
4. Siege Mentality
5. Incantations
6. Testimony
7. Tears Of Blood
8. Life Sentence
9. Personal Demons
10. Another Universe

The release of "Life Sentence" will mark the 30th anniversary of Satan's debut "Court In The Act." The new album will also feature the same line-up:

Brian Ross – Vocals
Steve Ramsey – Guitar
Russ Tippins – Guitar
Graeme English – Bass
Sean Taylor – Drums

Awesome! Anything with Brian Ross on vocals is worth listening to. After Hell's awesome "Human Remains" album I could do with another ridiculously named NWOBHM classic.

Satan is an extremely under rated NWOBHM band. Its good to see they are still around.
