PS3 version is buggy as hell and crash-tastic to boot.
I don't understand why the IW games are consistently better looking, more smooth, nimble and less problem-laden than the Treyarch games.
Compare World at War and Black Ops 1 and 2 to the Modern Warfares and ask yourself honestly, which is better looking and more responsive and less problematic. I thought MW3 was messy and rushed but this entry is deserves a merciful sledgehammer to the skull.
Dammit. I forgot A7X were on this thing. I was supposed to not get it for that reason. Now I'm -really- kicking myself.

lol, really your gonna whine about the graphics? The game is much better looking than this little clip they put together, I thought the beginning of the video was f***ing hilarious, then unfortunately they started playing... makes me miss old A7X.
@RM I personally am loving it, I haven't been able to connect to any lobbies since yesterday night - also on PS3 - so I destroyed Zombies/Campaign mode this fine evening lol. This is my favourite Treyarch contribution for sure, and is probably my favourite since CoD4. Give them time to fix the servers (it does baffle me that they still f*** this up pretty much annually) and give it another shot. ;)

I shelled out 60 bucks for this f***er, of course I'll keep playing it.
It's still fun, just a bit messy. Treyarch graphics have always been either dull and colorless or less realistic with more jagged edges. There's some terrible spawn-logic in this one and guns always feel a little gimped in the Treyarch titles and now grenade throw distances have been cut. Worst right now are the endless matchmaking and crashes.
Infinity Ward coddle the fans with kick-less laser rifles and the awful heartbeat sensor but I think Treyarch take their weapons too far in the other direction. Plus, I almost always migrate in IW titles when someone rage quits and I don't get the stupid disconnect logo like I do with Treyarch's games...
I needed that... :) A7X also make bad music and should stop it right now!

Well...you can't have it both ways man lol. Either they remove all recoil from almost every gun and people whine about it (Modern Warfare 2/3) or they add recoil and people whine about it (Black Ops 1/2). I for one like having some kick to the weapons, makes for an actual difference between AR, SMG, and LMGs and raises the tiny skill ceiling.
Also, how can you say Treyarch games are "less realistic" looking than IW titles, and at the same time complain that they're "dull and colourless" lol. MW2/3 are both way too colourful for war, makes them feel more like arcade shooters.
I don't want to get into a big CoD debate on here because it all comes down to personal preference, I just see a few loopholes in your logic. :P

you know the worlds coming to an end when hellrat became corperate and defends MU members instead of staying on his own private island and just winging it using his own personal gloss, i liked him so much better before he sold out and signed his name on the dotted line receiving perks from the mu payroll, way to go hollywood rat.
just mimicing what we already know, and thats a7x are still a bunch of silly c*nts.

^ You know, for hellrat to 'sign on the dotted lign' simply makes him human, not a sellout. Did you know that love and/or belonging is the 3rd basic need to human beings according to Maslow. (Assuming you DO know who he is, Wiki will fix that for ya)... Now, assuming that aren't just some troll, listen up. Selling out is some social construct made for us to object any form of behavior that displeases us. Belonging to a group, even if to acquire more 'moneyz' as you would call it only makes a person/group more human as per the Maslow point I have just brought up. I, myself have been consulting this site for over 6 years. Maybe that makes me 'lurker', but I feel quite happy with my surroundings and do not need to associate myself with people on this site (no offence intended). Nope, I may have no life, you would say; because I am writing to you at 1 am on a Friday night. If you must know, my girlfriend is soundly asleep next to me since I have 'sexed' her to sleep. I am simply having my beer and enjoying a jolly good time, as the Brits might say. Have a good night 'john lydon III'. I hope you find yourself some day.

Idk what kind of rubbish that was, might i reccomend that you, before posting you have a few pints rather than a few sipps, it might help evolve a form of a sense of humor in that old rubbish lifestyle you live in eh?
Mr rat lost his balls, i liked his posts better when he had them instead of wanking off.
Bloody hell

Oh but Johnny III, i LIKE wanking off...indeed, you are correctI jack it quite frequently :)
If supporting friends here constitutes 'selling out', well...yer on yer own there, bitter-brat Limestain
Though I will tell ya one thing, my furry scrote is quite full ('tis why I gotta wank it so oft...pressure valve, you see?). So, if YOU need a little support, I'll gladly shoot ya shot o rat juice to perk ya up...kindly send me yer address eh??
hmmm yes, yet another toothless frikken chortler :)

I'm 31 levels in and finding a greater appreciation for the game. Mostly due to the patch, but also guns more to my liking have started to trickle in for my Create a Classes (FAL, M27, MSMC).
Now to address my logic loopholes: When I say Treyarch maps are "less realistic", “dull and colorless” is exactly what I mean. The monochromatic overabundance of battleship gray and feces brown don’t reflect reality in the least. I’m not saying Treyarch should let loose with the Crayola bold and florescent markers, just that the landscapes that aren’t military facilities/bombed-out hellscapes, shouldn’t have to look as such.
MW1 especially, showed that it was possible to use a wide variety of subdued colors and earth tones without delving into neons and flashing lights.
I found that MW1 and 2 have maps that had better lighting, with fewer jagged edges both on weapons in hand and in the backdrops. The map border-walls always stuck me as generally less discernable as well. Treyarch have allowed more color in their world of late but haven’t or can’t master the same level of visual detail quality. There is something to be said about an overly arcade-feel to some IW maps but levels like Terminal and Favela would naturally or at least stereotypically, have more color.

My point was that the strength of the visuals in IW titles immerse me to the degree that I kill enemies more effectively. If I'm snickering or shaking my head at the landscape, I tend to get shot more.
I agree that MW3 was comically broken. I had no such qualms with MW2 though.

I don't understand all the whining over noob tubes. They aren't my attachment of choice (I'll take a suppressor any day) but grenade launchers have never bothered me to the point of crying foul. One Man Army was a huge joke but so few people abused it (at least while I was playing) that it was never an issue.
