Nothing: Check out Strapping young Lad for realz bro. It's Devin Townshends original band he had with Gene Hoglan(the drummer to dethklok) and it's fierce, angry, melodic, and experimental all at the same time.
Their video for their song "Love?" is set in the house for the Evil Dead/Army of darkness series that Bruce campbel was in, and for some reason I watch that video constantly. Might have something to do with how awesome the song is lol.
But yeah, Devin's solo stuff is a little more spacey and harder to get into, so thats why I say check out SYL first.
As for Septic Flesh, ummm...good luck getting into them lol I just dont think they're in your tastes thats all.
