I just realized it said Devin Townshend will be supporting Children of Bodom. Nothing against COB really, but...What has the world come to?!!
Thats like if Dio ran support for Slayer. nothing wrong with Slayer of course, but the order just feels...wrong.
I'm not even a huge fan of Dev's solo stuff, but c'mon.
Totally goin to this thing though. Finally a f***tastic tour I can go to again. It's been too long sitting through 3 bands I dont care for to see one cool one so I can get my mosh pitting going. Now I can mosh ALL FREAKING NIGHT. Well, maybe not as much for Dev, but more just becasue I wanna watch him on stage and get drunk.

Goddamn yeah cynic I hope so. I'm eagarly awaiting his Heavy and soft double albums Ghost and Deconstruction (i.e. Opeths Damnation/Deliverance), and I would kill to hear a sneak peek on tour.
So far I've heard he has guest spots on the heavy album from one of the duplantier brothers from Gojira(either the guitarist or drummer, I forget which), Greg Puciato from the Dillinger Escape Plan, and motherf***ing Ihsahn. If a project so ambitious as to include all those musicians isnt rivaling his SYL work, I dont know what project could.

Damn what a tour, 4 headliners really. Strange mix but I'm sure it'll pull people in.
