I'm thinking you'll have a hard time finding anyone who would agree with you though. Real metal heads know who's in their favorite bands and a pretty picture attached to the story isn't gonna make or break the story twink bait.

Is the photo of the band Korn? Yes, band as an entity. And though we attempt to keep band photos updated there are *thousands* of bands we report news on. There is no explicit rule that all photos of a band must contain present members but we do our best. As BlindGreed points out - most of the dedicated metalheads I know prefer to be part of the solution to these sorts of problems - that's why the Metal Archives works so well.

it just annoys me to see topical news with an old picture that JUST DOES NOT FIT AT ALL.
how the value suffers? if you're writing things and use false pictures? hmm hmm lets think about it hm yeah pretty difficult to figure that out. ;)
despite that it f*cking disrespects luzier (no die hard fan has to know who's in a band he's listening to and gets a FALSE pic by seeing this, i'm listening to more than 340 bands, do you think i even know how they all look like??) and honors silveria in an inappropiate way, if no one on mu cares about all od

Personally I enjoyed the song. I've heard samples...keep in mind samples from the new album and I love it. It's not the same as Self titled of Life is peachy (which is good. No one wants a carbon copy). It's heavy yet upbeat.
