This is easily the best thing that they band has ever put out. Granted, I'm not a fan of their first three but this album has more awesome riffs in it than most bands put out in a year.

#4, agreed once again Dasher. Not only did the band step it up but Tim really expanded his vocal range. Comparable to Randy on the latest Wrath album when it comes to measuring expansion/improvement.

i'm rlly enjoying the new album currently. the death growls, guitar solos, more thrashiness and more melodic parts are ALL nice touches to the plain and generic metalcore sound that is as i lay dying. but, as i lay dying not only were one of the contributors to make metalcore the popularity that it is today, but they're also one of the few that do it good and do it right.

As much as I like this album alot, I still feel, for some reason, that not as much effort went into it as An Ocean Between Us. But I guess this bridges the gap between SAR and AOBU.

Killer, killer album. Parallels is an incredibly catchy song. Tim's vocals are insane. Jordan's drumming is always top notch. Good music through and through.

Condemned sounds very Slipknotish though.
