Wiltwither Premiere New Single & Music Video "Obsolete" From Upcoming New Album "Pure Light"

Wiltwither have unveiled their new single “Obsolete,” marking the second preview from the experimental metalcore band’s upcoming album “Pure Light.” The record is slated to drop this Halloween (October 31st) via Periphery’s 3DOT Recordings label.

Frontman Nick Rendelman spoke about the inspiration and intent behind this latest track, stating:

“‘Obsolete‘ takes place towards the end of the album and its story, with multiple characters telepathically projecting feelings of abandonment, betrayal, and resentment onto each other. It was really important for us to find a certain aggression for this track, as it’s the most abrupt callout-of-a-song we’ve ever written. This one is for anyone who has been harmed by someone they care for, and for the human reactions that come with it.”
