The line-up and tracklisting for the Saw VI soundtrack has been revealed. The soundtrack features brand new and unreleased music from Hatebreed, Lacuna Coil, Suicide Silence, Shadows Fall, Mushroomhead, Converge, It Dies Today, Kittie, Chimaira, Every Time I Die, and more.

The Saw VI soundtrack will be available October 20, 2009. The official website and pre-order has been launched at saw6soundtrack.com.

In Saw VI, Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw's legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw's grand scheme is finally understood.

Trustkill's Josh Grabelle said, "We are stoked about this soundtrack as we've managed to place songs from some of the most exciting hard rock and metal bands in the scene on this one. We are all huge fans of the Saw movies and are ready to knock this one out of the park!"

Artists' Addiction Soundtracks' Jonathan Platt says of the Saw VI Soundtrack: "We feel that we have put together a collection of songs that really mirrors the chaos onscreen. All of our acts are big fans of the Saw series and were excited to be a part of the soundtrack and I think that energy really comes across."

Meh, I would DEFINITELY buy the bands cd over this. Why do they even make these? To remember the good/bad(...very) moments with the movie?

There are good moments in Saw movies? There's only one good track in that whole list to me - Type O Negative's "Dead Again". Great track, although it's about drug addiction, not being in an overrated torture porn movie.

I loved Saws 1 through 4, but the 5th movie just seemed a little empty, kinda like i knew what was gonna happen the whole time and was hoping for a twist that never came... Maybe since "Jigsaws grand scheme is finally understood" there will be light shed on why the 5th movie didnt have a twist
No matter what tho i will see it in theatre, every year i watch all the movies before i go see the new one
This soundtrack is ok at best, Im pretty excited to hear Mushroomheads new stuff, anybody heard any of it yet?

bg1 : any way u can send mE some of those "snippets"?? if u can't, that's kool, i'll wait. mushroomhead's one of those few/rare bands that i ALWAYS buy their albums. i bought savior sorrow without hearing ANYTHING about it kuz i had not followed up on them in a yr or 2 prior to it's release. curiously, i went on their site one day and saw "NEW ALBUM SAVIOR SORROW OUT TODAY" and i just went straight to best buy and bought it and i loved it!! waylon's awesome, but j mann's ALWAYS gonna have a special place in my heart. it's NOT has good as XIII per say, but is does remind mE of the almighty XX. \m/

I heard Mushroomhead before I heard Slipknot, but for some reason Slipknot appealed to me more. I really like XIII. Savior Sarrow was ok. But I really prefer J Mann over Waylon.

Nothing: One thing I can say is that J-Mann makes an appearance on at least one song on the new album (I know he's laid tracks for a particular song). They're still lacking a couple of tracks to complete the album, but they're also still shooting for a Feb. release date.
