I have a LP story. My little brother was on their crew (he's a sound engineer) a few years back. The bass player wears ear phones on stage (I guess to look like a douche?) and complained to the tour management about his monitor sound at a show. My brother pointed out (at the following days sound check) that if he used the custom ear pieces like the rest of the band he wouldn't have problems hearing himself on stage. He also added how rediculous the guy looks with the ear phones on in front of his band mates who continued to rib him for it for about a week. Finally, fed up with the ribbing from his band mates he confronted my brother at dinner one night. My brother promptly handed him his a$$ in one punch to the nose and sat back down to finish his dinner before booking his flight out of Dallas and off the tour.

Almost every single band sounds almost the same in every song. When you find the exceptions, that is where you find the good bands from the bad bands. Every band is capable of good music, it takes some talent just to play instruments in sync and in the right tunes. It is whether they DO make good music that sets them apart, I know the next person below me is just going to bash Linkin Park again, or some idiot is going to say "DON SAYYY NUTIN BD BOUT LINKIN PARK CUZ THEY FU** YOU FACE WIT COOL MOOSIK" I will admit I'm a little biased because I am a fan, but just think about it next time. They really aren't that bad, metal or not. There is FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR worse out there.
