Behemoth Frontman, Nergal Speaks On Rockstar Mayhem 2009 Tour Participation

Band Photo: Slayer (?)
Behemoth frontman, "Nergal" has posted his feelings on the bands appearance at this summers Rockstar Energy Mayhem festival. The post reads as follows: "I cannot find words to express the enthusiasm that literally blows us up! It’s a great ennoblement to be accompanied by Slayer and Marilyn Manson. This is the best reward that we could ever get after a dozen of years of hard work and wandering on various venues all over the world. I can promise that Behemoth will be at it’s best. We will play a cross-sectional set with some new material included!"
Behemoth will also support Slayer on a tour for three weeks before the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival.

Considering Bullet is on the main stage, and will thus have somewhere close to an hour setlist....
I don't think it's humanly possible to take a sh** for an hour....
guess I have to hear them rip off both Slayer AND Trivium after all...
now Playing: Opeth- Baying of the Hounds

holy f***, did u guys go last year when UNDEROATH was there when they were preaching about jesus?? like f***, bullet is a million times better than underoath, and underoath is a million times more emo... so suck it up and go and see Slayer, or Cannibal Corpse, or some other band that's gonna be there that are gonna be f***ing awesome! like for f*** sakes.. Slipknot was the headliner last year... and they blew ass. like i say before, just go to the beer tents and yes, drink for an hour straight if they're going to be playing for that long.
Grow some balls and be metal and instead of whining on the internet about how things aren't fair, ignore the band u don't like and make some use out of the time that they're playing.
Now listening to: Vague Sentiments Unveil - Sleep Terror

Wickedly outrageous "hellraising" news all the best to BEHEMOTH being choosen to join forces on the Rockster Energy Mayhem SLAYER/Marilyn MANSON Tour Summer 2009! It sounds like it's gonna be quite a war marchine workout...'that's alot of energy, Wow blastoff!!!!! cheers.

grow some balls and stop listening to BFMV.
lol just kidding but seriously I dont understand how you like that band. "Affront to everything metal" is the only definiton of this band that I could give to someone on the street.
At least underoath were ignorable and quiet. I'm gonna be able to hear this band from the parking lot or inside the bathroom, they get the quality sound systems this time around. ugh.
Whatever. I have as much chance of changing your mind about liking this band as you do changing my mind about liking Pig destroyer; it's just not gonna happen, we like what we like. :/
Now Playing: Jettison Gray Matter- Malcontent

all i really listen to is the music/guitar, so i always miss out on the vocals, no matter what the band is. THAT is y i like BFMV. yes, their lyrics are gay, yes he has a whinny voice, but i always listen to everything else first, and if the singing is too annoying to me, i simply delete the song that the singing was annoying on.
i wasnt trying to change ur mind about liking the band, all i meant was to just ignore them when they play (like u said u'd do for Underoath).
also, i think that "Affront to everything metal" is more Trivium than Bullet. ESPECIALLY their new album...
Now listening to: Dreaming The End - Neuraxis

I think Bullet would get a lot less hate if they didn't call themselves metal, I dunno how to describe it other than pop metal, completely made to sell, no heart in it, apart from the emo songs where he sings about missing his family or something... At least that's what I get from the videos on Scuzz

Bfmv should be on the warp tour, i think thats more of a friendly atmosphere than this years mayhem......i think youll here some boos in some towns when they go on.
I think there a pretty good rock band........but there not metal,....theyre kinda the oddball on this bill cause all of these bands are either established or dark.....they are neither......manson sux....cant believe hes on this bill....i know its impossible this year but dimmu borgir would have been the perfect co headliner for this tour...
21. writes:
people are stupid if they are gonna pass up mayhem fest cuz B4mv is there. so your gonna miss slayer, cannibal corpse,JFAC,all that remains and behemoth because of a band you dont like is ther? thats stupid im sorry lol
last year i went and only checked out machine head 5fdp slipknot and disturbed, and went and checked out the merch tents and everything during the lame bands.

In my opinion, if anyone was to be taken of the main stage at Mayhem, it should be Manson, not BFMV. there seems to be new age bands on stage like BFMV, TRIVIUM, And Killswitch Engage, so i don't know why they would place Manson and Slayer on the main stage. Don;t get me wrong slayer is AMAZING, but i'm going to Mayhem because of those new bands, ESPECIALLY Bullet for My Valentine.
they seem to be getting alot of hate, but i'll be the first to say that BFMV is my favorite band and i believe they're goanna kick a$$ on the main stage, and i know many others think so to...

How can you even listen to them for their guitar? It's like listening to Trivium over....every other band.

SUMGUY (Raymond): If you came to this website looking for someone to back you up regarding your love for BFMV then I have to say that you came to the wrong place. If many others share your view, they must do it somewhere else because I don't know anybody on this site that wouldn't b!tch slap each and every member of that band given the opportunity to do so.

I just want to put all the members of Bullet in a steel elctrified cage with a half-starved Polar bear that just did a mountain of cocaine righth before getting in the cage.
If they survive, pour napalm on everything. Then take a hot steaming dump on whatever ashes are left. Then go to an Amon Amarth concert to make up for all the manliness points you just lost from being close to the band for more than ten seconds.
Now Playing: Converge- Serial Killer

First of all, balls and BFMV can't be used in the same sentance. Second, respect is earned; not given. Thrid, this is a Behemoth thread, not a BFMV thread. Fourth, I say what I want, when I want. Lastly, obviously you have no balls because you think creativity grows balls. Stick to what you know kid.
33. writes:
SumGuy- Hell no. When you suggest the removal of Slayer from the mainstage at festival you just opened up yourself up for abuse. Slayer is the mainstage for a reason- they have a dedicated fanbase that you will never understand. They are not a flavor of the month tenny bopper band like your Valentine Bullets. Rather, they are masters of their craft and have been a force in the metal scene longer than you have been alive. When you go to Mayhemfest, do not be suprised when METAL fans start booing and jeering your emo band, just like with what happened to Dragonforce last year. You heard it here first.
BlindGreed- I disagree. I can use BFMV and balls in the sentence:
"BFMV aren't worthy enough to lick the sweat off Slayer's balls."
