Ozzy Osbourne Working On New Album

In an interview with USA Today about his upcoming appearance in the new Guitar Hero game, Ozzy Osbourne has announced that he is working on at least one new album, stating that:
I am recording another album soon. I've got a Pro Tools machine downstairs in my house now, which I record from home now. I can't turn the fucking thing on. (Laughs). It's like the brain of the house. But when you have somebody who knows what they are doing, it's so easy to make records now, it's not even funny.
The art of making records is somewhat diminishing. It's taking the passion out of it. But I will try to give it as much real me as I can. There's so many tricks I can use.
I want to make two albums. Make one and go out on that one, and make another one and go out on that. Time is very valuable to me now. I'm 60 this December. It does not seem 10 years since I was 50. It really doesn't. My mission now is to do as much as I can.

I agree post 1. And he is right about ProTools, it does take a ton of the work and also the fun out of making an album. The more they update it the more sh**ty bands you see crapping out albums that sound professionally recorded. No offense to Ozzy but I think that is the only way he can record any new albums in his deteriorating health is all the tricks Pro Tools offers. I just hope it is his love for his fans and the music that is pushing him to keep recording and touring and not Sharon's greed.

He should sack Zakk and hire some new whizz kid guitarist like he did in the past. Hey it worked the last few times. In the end, his voice is still great he just needs some decent songs to sing over. Mister Crowley, dun dun dun!!

if ozzy's new album is anything like black rain, i'll pass. zakk has turned ozzy into a boring extension of BLS recently. the guy just splooges the same lightning fast solos without any apparent direction while stomping on the wah-wah. its like zakk isnt even trying to be original anymore. i wouldnt mind if ozzy got a new guitarist.
and it would be nice if ozzy ditched the sh**ty vocal effects he used throughout black rain. his voice sounds much better without them.

another ozzy record? well this ought to be a complete diabolical f***ing travesty. The only way this is going to be interesting is if Randy Rhodes comes back from the dead and plays on it. If Zakk's going to be on it, it's going to sound like the last one did: A black label society album with ozzy on vocals. If anything else, it'll suck. Whatever. I don't even care about Ozzy anymore. He could float off into space and I wouldn't give a sh**. Release it, promote it like crazy, and then turn tail and seek refuge in your beverly hills mansion until your fans forget about it.

I agree with Terminator (post 12) about BLS..
And what Ozzy means by "go out on that one" I think is that he means to tour in support of it, make another album and tour in support of that one too.
But man, I can't believe he's almost 60 already.. I've been listening to him my whole life.
