Morbid Angel Announces New Guitarist, Destructhor

Band Photo: Zyklon (?)
Morbid Angel have revealed that longtime Zyklon guitarist Destructhor (also known as Thor Anders Myhren).
Frontman David Vincent has said: “The hunt for another guitarist to play alongside Trey (Azagthoth, the band’s primary songwriter) was long and difficult. Man, I tell you, we had tapes sent to us from all over the world from guys who wanted to play in our band, and many of them were extremely talented – but Thor was the right choice for us. He’s a fantastic guitarist and fits right in with the band. Also, Zyklon have supported Morbid Angel in the past, so the guys knew each other already.”

HOLY f***ING sh** MAN now this is awesome. Morbid Angel is one of the few Death Metal bands I like and Zyklon happens to by my favorite Death Metal band (they may not be straight up Death Metal but you get my point). I thought that Erik Rutan from Hate Eternal rejoined the band though. When did he leave?
I just wanna ask is Destructhor's real name Thor? Talk about a kick a$$ name, that would be like naming me Cernunnos.
cruor - you thinking about David Vincent the returned vocalist?
I don't really care for Zyklon, I thought "World Ov Worms" was brutal but nothing interesting. Doesn't really matter who the hired gun is, Trey will always be the mastermind behind MA and it will be good to hear David Vincent behind the mic again.
