This is a great album. They may have toned down the lead guitar a bit but they definately stepped up the rhythm. And I also think that people's views on music genres are seriously warped. Demon Hunter is metal, nothing else, and definately not emo. I think people find the most disgustingly vulgar death metal with the deepest growls and fastest nonstop blast beat and anything slower is "emo" to them. Maybe it's anything with singing. I'm not sure, all I know is that emo bands are bands like bright eyes and cursive, not bands like Demon Hunter and As I Lay Dying. As far as the religion thing goes. They sing about what they feel in their hearts, and any band that doesn't do that is lying to themselves.
