Yeah, can't wait for them to hit it up here. With Joey, it's going to rock even more.
Don't understand the haters though. Korn WAS kind of boring and sloppy after Issues but they have really done a great job at reinventing themselves since See You On the Other Side. I don't mind them now.
I guess people really are bitter about them being sort of mainstream.

Alot of people hated Korn from the start and I can understand that, but like post 3 I'm from the school that liked the first two albums.
Lots of energy, all that wide open minimalist space (Blind is a great example)...metal just hadn't been played like that...whether it was a lack of skill on Korns part or not....it just felt sincere...
Maybe I was young and stupid but amid my love for Pantera, Metallica, Slayer and Tool the first two Korn albums fit in quite well with that era in the mid nineties.
Unique and heavy but not the heaviest in the land by a longshot. Korn are the proverbial husk now but once upon a time they had something.

First off, they suck live, mind you they have the heart for it...but then again, its hard to find bands that are equally if not more awesome live...I also noticed they played faster, must be because Jordison's a fast drummer, and really with someone like him, bands have to catch up with him kinda thing...
And I only watch the videos because I think Jordison is an amazing drummer, and I see he's really done better with the songs than Silveria's done lately. Plus, Jordison has really kinda toned his playing down for Korn material. Jordison, whether or not metalheads appreciate him for playing with Slipknot, he's still a very awesome drummer, up there with Inferno of Behemoth, etc...I think Silveria's just a lazy drummer...But then again, I think most of them were lazy players...I've heard a live video where Munky played a great solo, and I really think from that video, he's got potential to play solos, but him and Head were just lazy in my opinion...

Munky doesn't need to do solos because thats just not what their kind of music is...it's not what they play. You guys are saying that KoRn lost it after the first 2 albums?...are you kidding me? Issues was one of their most experimental albums and it was a CD where you could listen to every song on it because every song kicked A$$...not to mention Take A Look In the Mirror and Untouchables.

^thats a matter of opinion personally i think korn sucks and jordison is extremely over qualified, but SB&M up there with Inferno? i think ur givin him too much credit because on drums Inferno is basically god wrapped in flesh (or however u wanna look at it)
Now Playing: In Flames- Jotun
