Abigail Williams Disbands

Band Photo: Abigail Williams (?)
Phoenix, Arizona's ABIGAIL WILLIAMS has issued the following statement:
"Abigail Williams has decided to disband. It's no secret that the band has had more than its fair share of lineup problems and the time has now come to close the doors. The MySpace page will remain active and we'll continue to sell merchandise until we run out of stock. Abigail Williams released their debut EP, Legend, via Candlelight Records earlier this year and it is currently available in stores everywhere. Thanks to everyone at Candlelight who believed in this band and every fan who has supported our music."
"Please don't bother asking for specific details surrounding the band's demise; just understand that this was for the better and we'll try to keep everyone posted as to the future endeavors of former band members, etc."

True. My money's on Evergreen Terrace to split up next. No reason, just a feeling. I reckon it'll continute as little crappy bands then at the end of say June when we're getting fed up of hearing about bands we don't care about, Iron Maiden or Slayer or someone will break up and the whole metal scene will be in shock so much that no bands'll break up for ages. Sods law.

I just went back up and read the article and I noticed that they've only released an EP.
What a b1tch thing to do. You record all four of your songs, and then when writers' block strikes, you crack under pressure and blame it on "lineup changes". These pvssies just didn't want it bad enough.
I say good riddance. Metal doesn't need whiny quitter sh1tbags like this around anyways. They should all just go work at a fvcking day care or something because they're fags and their band deserves to shrivel up and die. No one likes a quitter. I always thought that metal was about sticking to your fvcking guns and never backing out no matter what the circumstances.
Once again, good riddance.

Um...they were also one of the opening acts for Emperors' one-off performance, one of the most influential black metal bands of all time. So There. And Abigail Williams' weren't really black metal anyway, so I don't know what the f*** you're on about.
I only heard one of their songs (Like Carrion Birds), and it wasn't that impressive. It was a bit boring and forgettable. I mean, it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. I agree with CrawfordTexasJingoJango, they obviously didn't want it hard enough to battle through. Oh well, life goes on I guess...
