When I'm in the mood for more accessible and catchy metal this(and SYL) is one of the bands I turn to. Theres some good song writers in this group, decent lyrics and impressive musicianship.

For me Shadows Fall succeed in areas where Trivium and KSE and to a lesser degree LOG falter.

I've only heard one of their tracks ages ago and gave them the push. If I had to hear one track what would it be?

"Thoughts without Words" is a good place to start, sums up their sound pretty well.

If you don't like it, no point in going further. Not particularly advanced stuff but fun and reasonably thrashy.

Other standouts: "Idle Hands", "The Light that Blinds", "Inspiration on Demand", "Destroyer of Senses", "Deadworld", "What Drives the Weak", "Seize the Calm" and "Enlightened by the Cold".

April 3rd is gonna be a good day. The new Shadows fall will be good, and the new Static-X comes out that day, which will be awesome.

Thats a good line-up but i dont really think Lacuna Coil should really be in that category...

Just my opinion..
