Five.Bolt.Main To ReturnTo The Studio To Record Sophomore Effort
Five.Bolt.Main, who are based in Louisville, Kentucky, plan to head into the studio in August to begin work on a new album set for release in early 2007. Chris Henderson, guitarist for the multi-platinum band 3 Doors Down, will be at the production helm.
Says Five.Bolt.Main lead singer Chris Volz: "I am really excited about this next Five Bolt record; the songs we have written are insane. We are also very privileged to be able to work with Chris Henderson as a producer. His ear for melody is just what we need to complete the work. I also have to say that I've never worked with a string section with the talent level of Ronny and Alex. Wait until you guys hear this! We'll see you on tour soon."
Says Rock Ridge Principal Tom Derr: “"Rock Ridge looks forward to continuing this artist development campaign with Chris Volz and Five.Bolt.Main. The work we have completed over the past year leads us directly to this next step and working on some new exciting music with Chris Henderson." Henderson echos the excitement about the upcoming studio work, saying: “"It’s really refreshing to hear a great rock band play, and when you work with these guys, that's what you get: a great rock band with real songs."
The band also plans to release a live album entitled “Live >From Louisville” in October on Rock Ridge Music. Three live songs were released digitally on June 13th to whet fans’ appetites for the full-length and are available via all digital distribution portals.
Additionally, Five.Bolt.Main will continue their tour trek (see tour dates below) until they head into the studio. Band drummer Ivan Arnold recently left the group to pursue other interests. A replacement will be named soon for the tour dates.

I actually live in the city these guys are from and their the most popular thing thats touring since Days of the New, Tantric Outspoken and Flaw....Kinda sad that the music is so simple and , they have a gifted singer but his lyrics sorta suck and the playing style of the band is way too simplistic for me.
