Godsmack's "IV" Debuts At #1 On Billboard 200

Godsmack's "IV" (Universal), which moved 211,000 copies, debuted on The Billboard 200 at Number 1. That's a little more than 50,000 units off the opening week of the quartet's last full-length, "Faceless," which landed at No. 1 in April 2003.

Best Buy and Target carry exlusive versions of the CD. Copies of the album purchased at Best Buy will include the bonus track "Safe And Sound". "IV" CDs purchased at Target will include the bonus track "I Thought".

I really like the drums on "Straight out of Line"....

I've never picked up a Godsmack album in my time but Shannon Larkin really turned my head in that song. It's simple playing made interesting and full of these speedy and intricate little fills...Best song this band has ever made and probably will ever make in my opinion.
