Mystic Festival (PL) Gifts Four More Bands

This time you’ll get to see Scandinavian in an unorthodox light – both brutal, and funny, and psychedelic. Also added were Frog Leap, Allt, Neckbreakker and Truckfighters to the festival line-up.

Frog Leap

There are phenomena that cannot be properly captured in words – you simply must experience them, and this is one of them. Leo Moracchioli has a studio in Norway that he, naturally, called Frog Leap. He also has internet access, musical talent and boundless imagination. For over a decade, he’s been recording metal covers of non-metal hit songs, from ‘Africa’ to ‘Despacito’ – he’s made over five hundred of them. First, he was a viral sensation (almost 5 million YouTube subscribers!), then, it turned out that Frog Leap is even more fun live. In Gdansk, we’ll all be chanting the lyrics of songs that – if someone asked – we, of course, do not know.

Allt

The Fermi paradox is the discrepancy between the high likelihood of the existence of extraterrestrial life and the virtual lack of evidence of its existence. We’d be speaking of an entirely separate paradox if Allt, with all their excellent music and captivating live performances, weren’t on a meteoric rise to become the next giants of the Swedish scene, but, thankfully, that remains completely hypothetical.

Neckbreakker

We’ve had the pleasure of hosting Nakkeknaekker at the festival before, but Neckbreakker is coming to Gdansk for the first time. Back then, the Danish had yet to release their debut album, the truly neck-breaking Within the Viscera, now, the band enjoys both popularity and acclaim thanks to, among others, them being invited to join Gojira on tour. To Neckbreakker, death metal, hardcore and groove metal are all but one common tongue best endowed to express rage and fury.

Truckfighters

You’ll hardly find a desert in Sweden, but stoner rock of the highest order is a different matter entirely! Truckfighters, who celebrated the 20th anniversary of their excellent debut album Gravity X this year, are perfectly attuned to this heaviness, machinery and acidity. For years, they haven’t released any new material, but that’s about to change in the first half of 2026, before they come by Gdansk for a visit. We can hardly wait. More...
