Monument Of Misanthropy Reveal New Album Details

European technical brutal death metal institution Monument Of Misanthropy have teamed up with Metalundergound.com to reveal the initial details for their third studio full-length. That upcoming album is titled "Vile Postmortem Irrumatio - Kemper" and the artwork for it, done by Ukrainian artist Andriy Tkalenko of Daemorph Art, can be seen in the video streaming below.

A 2023 release date is being eyed for the outing via Transcending Obscurity Records, which like its predecessor "Unterweger" is a concept album about a serial killer. This time around the band has decided to write an album based on the shocking life of the American serial killer Ed Kemper. Kemper was nicknamed the Co-ed Killer, as most of his victims were female college students hitchhiking in the vicinity of Santa Cruz County, California.

Obscene Extreme Adds Four More Bands

The Obscene Extreme America mosh pit just keeps getting bigger and bigger. The festival takes place in Montreal, QC from August 20th - 23rd, with the organizers issuing this statement about new confirmations:

"Fatal Flaw - Don’t get fooled by the band name! The only weakness these Montreal crustcore lunatics have is not being able to control the anger & ferocity that goes through their music. Raging crust punk is what you’ll get at OEF America and the only flaw possible is the lack of people in the mosh pit. Don’t make this happen, get your ass in the pit or you will feel the wrath of Fatal Flaw!

"The Drip - They're pissed off & ready to unleash the most barbaric grindcore the east-coast have ever witnessed. Washington State's The Drip deliver merciless fast-paced grind in a non stop onslaught of aggression & intensity. Get ready for a presentation of gruesome poetics while this modern grindcore band spread chaos through their blasting & unhealthy tunes.

"Noisem - Baltimore's Noisem will blast their vicious tunes in such a destructive velocity, it will feel like someone's shredding your fucking face with a cheesegrater. Formerly known as Necropsy, this young band's playing abrasive death metal at a lightning speed, destroying everything in its path. Be apart of the bestial birth of Noisem at OEF!!!

"Homewrecker - Things are going to get ugly at OEF America as Ohio's Homewrecker are back in Montreal with their grinding hardcore harmonies. They will show no mercy as they pummel your face with heavy as hell guitar riffs, punishing vocals & blistering fast drums!"
