Caliban Posts New "Caliban TV" Episode
German act Caliban has released a new episode in the "Caliban TV" series titled "Get Infected Tour Part 1." Check out the behind-the-scenes footage in the YouTube player available below. Caliban, which released new album "I Am Nemesis" earlier this year, also has upcoming tour dates with Trivium and As I Lay Dying in October, with full details available here.
As I Lay Dying Announces Tour With Trivium
San Diego metal act As I Lay Dying has announced a tour with Trivium this fall. Other bands on the bill include Caliban and Upon a Burning Body (dates available below).

Caliban Announces New Album Details
German modern metal force Caliban is proud to announce the release of the band's eighth studio album, "I Am Nemesis" on February 28th, 2012 via Century Media Records. After spending 10 months writing new material, the band is very excited to get the record out to fans. "It was important to us to have an elaborate album without any fillers," says lead guitarist Marc Görtz. "Additionally, the sound of the album is the best we've ever had by far: it is heavy and brutal without being chaotic."
Lyrically, "I Am Nemesis" is a continuation of the band's last record, "Say Hello To Tragedy," and focuses on controversial and often overlooked world issues. Musically, Görtz says, "The album breaks new soil without forgetting our roots. There are new influences such as shimmering guitar melodies and technical grooves with Meshuggah-like heaviness."

Caliban Announces New Album Title
Caliban recently finished recording a new album, as well shooting a music video. The band has now issued the following brief update about the album's title and release date:
"Our new album, coming on February 3rd, 2012 (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) / February 6th, 2012 (Rest of Europe) (United States / Australia to be announced soon!), will be entitled 'I Am Nemesis.'"

Caliban Finishes Shooting Music Video
Caliban recently finished the recording of a new album, and the band has now issued the following update about shooting a music video:
"This weekend we shot the video for our upcoming album. It was alot of work, but we have a great feeling that it will turn out awesome!
"We are so stoked to see the final cut in a few weeks. To tease you a little bit, check this. More pics will follow soon..."

German act Caliban has issued the following brief announcement about finishing the recording of a new album and shooting a new music video:
"As you all know we have finished all recordings of our new album. Tomorrow morning we will head to Saarbrücken for the next 2 days to shoot our new video.
"We are super stoked and we hope you are too!!! Some pics of the shoot will follow within the next days."

Caliban Issues Recording Update
Germany's Caliban has issued the following announcement about completing the recording of new material for an upcoming release:
"We are finally finished! We really can't believe it ourselves. After many months of hard work we finished all recordings!! The new tracks came out really intense and sound 'unmixed' really heavy, amazing!
"Next week we are going to start the mixing and we cant wait to hear the first rough mixes! As soon as we can we will share some tones with all of you! Are you as excited as we are?!?"

Metalunderground.com is proud to bring you the premiere of German metalcore band Caliban's new Type O Negative cover, "My Girlfriend's Girlfriend." It's an interesting take, mixing hardcore/metal and gothic doom metal. The cover song is one of four, along with covers of Rammstein, At The Gates, and The Beatles, off of Caliban's upcoming EP, "Coverfield," which is out now on iTunes and via Century Media Records.
The band previously released a short sample from The Beatles cover of "Helter Skelter" here, as well as a studio video update for the recordings here.

More Bands Added To Summer Breeze Lineup

Powerwolf To Play Rock Harz Festival
Powerwolf has issued the following announcement about appearing at this year's edition of the Rock Harz Open Air festival:
