Remembering Never is touring in support of their breakthrough Ferret album, "Women and Children Die First." Midwestern metal merchants the Agony Scene's "The Darkest Red" features killer production from Rob Caggiano (Cradle Of Filth, Bleeding Through) and Sinai Beach's "Immersed" debuted at #198 on the Billboard charts.

NEHMF 2005 Live Report
It’s that time of year again- birds are chirping, trees are blossoming, the city’s Crowne Plaza Hotel is bombarded with numerous metal parties. And, of course, the local businesses in Worcester, MA hand out flyers that read “Dear metalheads (!!!), if you’re wondering where to get drunk tonight, come to our pub”.
It’s the New England Metal Fest weekend, which was held on April 22-24 and welcomed fans from all corners of the US, Canada, Puerto Rico and even UK. Probably the biggest and best festival on this side of the Atlantic. At least this year’s. I was giddy with excitement about this event since January and I lived to share my observations and opinions. More...

As I Lay Dying Report From Vancouver, BC
I caught the As I Lay Dying show with Throwdown and All That Remains when the tour came through Vancouver, BC on March 29 at Richard's on Richards. I actually had the chance to see all three bands live at the Commodore Ballroom on separate occasions in 2004: As I Lay Dying on the In Flames tour in May, Throwdown with Fear Factory and Lamb of God in October, and All That Remains with Gwar in November. Unlike the Commodore, which houses no more than 1000 people, Richard's on Richards was even smaller, which I personally prefer over huge stadiums. As I Lay Dying was having trouble getting across the border and was stuck there for four hours. As a result, the band didn't arrive at the venue until almost 7 and so they had to push back the entire show. More...
