Weedeater Gearing Up For More Summer Shows

Notorious southern metal outfit Weedeater has announced new U.S. tour dates. This upcoming tour begins on August 9th and sees Weedeater traveling to and from Psycho Las Vegas fest, Crucial Fest, and many more before concluding on September 9th. Notorious southern metal outfit Weedeater just announced eastern U.S. and Canadian summer tour dates. The band heads east after an appearance at Berserker Fest 2017, and will be joined by Black Wizard and Serial Hawk.

Weedeater Adds More North American Shows

Notorious southern metal outfit Weedeater just announced a western U.S. and Canadian tour. The band heads west after an appearance at Berserker Fest 2017 , and will be joined by Primitive Man on all dates.

Berserker IV Festival Lineup Finalized

On April 14-15th 2017, The Crofoot in Pontiac, Michigan will play host to the annual Berserker music fest. Now in its fourth year, the all-ages, two-day event is a wholly DIY affair founded and organized by Child Bite frontman Shawn Knight and his wife Veronica.

Berserker IV is capped offf with the addition of hardcore heavyweights Ringworm. This year's lineup boasts thirty bands on three stages with appearances by internationally touring acts like GWAR, OFF!, Weedeater, The Obsessed, Negative Approach, Brain Tentacles, Child Bite, and more as well as new and established underground artists including Immortal Bird, Cemetery Piss, Fuck You Pay Me, SNAFU, Artillery Breath, and others.

The festival also marks the official return of Eyehategod vocalist Mike IX William,s who will front the band for the first time since undergoing a liver transplant this past December.

For those who haven't recently replaced their livers, Berserker IV will debut the festival exclusive Blood Troll Mead, made with Michigan Wildflower Honey, fresh Elderberries, and fresh Gooseberries. Psycho Las Vegas Announces 2017 Lineup

Psycho Las Vegas - set to take place from August 18th through August 20th, 2017 at the Hard Rock Hotel And Casino Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada -- today announces over thirty-five new additions to its massive 2017 lineup.

Author & Punisher Kicking Off Tour With Weedeater

One-man industrial doom dealer, Tristan Shone, otherwise known as Author & Punisher, will again drag his steel through the highways of North America as direct support for Weedeater.

The latest trek serves as the second leg of a tour that's already trampled its way through seventeen cities. The journey, presented by MetalSucks, kicks off tonight May 6th in Columbia, South Carolina, and will stretch through May 27th. Additional support will be provided by Today Is The Day and Barishi on the US dates and Sierra on the Canadian stops.

Maryland Deathfest Names 45 More Acts For 2016

Promoters for Maryland Deathfest have announced 45 more acts for the 2016 edition of the annual Memorial Day festival bash. Among the list - U.K. doom metal legends Paradise Lost, U.S. doom metal upstarts Crypt Sermon, the reformed Swedish death act Centinex, U.K. legends Discharge, U.S. thrash legends Hirax, soon to be defunct legends Nuclear Blast, U.K. classic metal legends Satan and the mighty Bay Area thrash act Testament.

Kings Destroy To Support Weedeater On Tour

NYC stoner rock outfit Kings Destroy will take to the streets this August as direct support to bong-wielding metal legion Weedeater. Slated to initiate on August 4th in Atlanta, Georgia, the trek will trudge its way up the east coast and back again coming to a close on August 16th in Asheville, North Carolina.

In celebration of the tour announcement, Kings Destroy today unleashes the official new video for "Mr. O." The Josh Graham (Suspended In Light)-directed clip comes by way of the band's self-titled new full-length released last month via War Crime Recordings and available for streaming in full right here.

SXSW 2015 Day Three: Tone Deaf Touring Showcase

A little bit of rain didn’t stop SXSW attendees from once again packing the Dirty Dog Bar down on Sixth Street this Friday. While the Metal Sucks showcase was heavy on tech death bands, the Tone Deaf Touring showcase included down tempo acts The Skull and Weedeater. Before those acts took the stage, though, progressive instrumentalists Stinking Lizaveta opened the show. The Philadelphia, Ohio based band has fifteen years of touring American and European audiences. This longevity showed in the trio’s tightness. Their female drummer played hard sticking tightly to the bassist who played an upright bass. The guitarist adeptly traversed his fret board. They received a good response from the small crowd.
